A midtown GEM! The quality of the sushi is the best in the area and every time I go, I am impressed by the consistency of the freshness. We have even gotten take-out platters to bring to people's celebrations in the suburbs - it's that good, and at a reasonable price. The dine-in experience is casual and lovely with friendly service, and other details that I appreciate like very good roasted tea, an excellent savoury miso soup, and elegant food presentation. They have a large menu now (accessed on your device) which is a little tedious to go through, but they have some unique offerings like a new favourite 'White Dragon Roll' with torched butterfish.

Had a mixed chirashi sushi. Quality was decent, it was presented nicely, and I liked the quantity of fish though I would have liked maybe a little more variety even at a higher priced option if available. The rice was a little on the hard side and avocado seemed like it had been sitting out for a while but overall flavour was still good. Met my expectations but wasn’t exceptional. No cash discount, unfortunately.

this was the only sushi place open as early as 10am and I was surprised at how well the service and food was. I was ultimately greeted at the beginning and the server was very nice. I ordered a lunch special for $27 and the portion and quality was just the right size. The sushi rice was not so thick, that I'm able to have a full bodied taste of the food.If I'm ever in town again, I'd come back.

The owner makes you feel very uncomfortable when paying. She expects a certain tip while providing the bare minimum service. She will call you out in front of everyone in the restaurant and give you a lecture on tipping culture. We tipped plenty for our small orders, and she complained saying it wasn't enough and we should tip more.This is the second time she has had a problem with it. Last time we saw her chase a customer outside because they didn't tip.Terrible, never going back! Would never recommend to anyone.
Tastiest miso soup I've ever had, sushi tastes amazing and fresh, and the chicken garage was crispy and flavorful. Great service, and they checked upon on me multiple times.

I had great expectation from the restaurant but it turned out to be the worst exp ever! I came with my friend over a lunch and had the worst food ever. Waitress was pathetic and had no etiquette to serve. She was shouting and placed food on the table like garbage. I will never ever come here and strongly advise people to never go there as well! There are way better restaurants with 100 times better food and service.

Have been ordering from here for years. Overall good. I could tell some of the sashimi had been frozen. And the beef teriyaki was very mediocre quality. And the owner has been a bit rude to me. However, I keep ordering from them as I think it is the best close by.
