Utterly slow internet (wifi) speeds. Unusable and defeats the point of a cafe for many customers who use it to work or study.

I come to this place often to get coffee just because it’s close where I work and coffee is okay but most of the time staffs are chitchatting even though they see the customer in front. It just looks like they don’t like working there.

The coffee is fantastic. The place has great atmosphere, big enough to not feel overcrowded. Food options are very limited but the coconut cookie is

The place is cute but staff not nice at all (at least not the white cashiers) plus they put sugar in the coffee without asking you(? Never coming back

Very cute cafe with huge windows, lots of pretty natural lighting in the front seating areas. There is an upper level is a bit moody but provides double the seating. Great for studying/wfh. Wifi connection is FAST.Great selection of green, black and herbal teas. The cheese scone is so so good.

I usually have their Cortado! Always hits the spot. I also had the lemon raspberry muffin this time and it was yum! They have sourdough bread available, haven't tried it but I see they run out of it pretty quickly. So I am guessing it's good.

This Dark Horse is cozy, clean and friendly. The coffee (drip coffee) is a bit sour and very tasty. A very nice place to remember the good old days and bright future. I usually go there to have some little me time.

Surly staff one of whom was definitely management.Coffee is passable but nothing exceptional.Dirty plates, cups and mugs all over available tables and benches without being cleared or wiped for over an hour without the cafe being busy.Very glad to be promoted for such exorbitant tips…

Nowhere to sit. Full of computer/phone using under 25s. I walked from Queen St.following suggested 'coffee near me'. It was not worth the walk. Rude staff saying 'no food' available. I didnt want to be dramatic but I really needed to sit down; no offer of space. Nearly 5pm so 2 hours until closing; presumably young adults keep topping up with strong coffee but no need of carbs. Yes, part of the problem is mine. I'm in my 70s, disabled and walk with a cane. Seems like I became invisible. I wint be back.
