Another OUTSTANDING dinner with Neil and crew at Defina Wood Fired on Dupont (Roncesvalles is another location, also good). Terrific service from the staff, always great pizza and sides, good buzz to the place (full!), excellent value overall. Love this place. Highly recommended.Motivated to write this review because we had a minor issue with our meal and Neil responded the way first-class establishments do - insisted that things be made right, wouldn't accept our saying it wasn't a big deal we just wanted him to know in the spirit of feedback. We'll be back - soon - and again and again.---

We went to Definas on March 2, 2024. The environment and service was wonderful. When we ordered, we made a mistake and ordered a pizza, which was delicious, but had an ingredient on it that was too spicy for us to eat. Our server noticed that we didn’t seem to be enjoying our dinner and asked us what was wrong. As soon as we told him that it was too spicy for our liking, he and his manager insisted that they make us another pizza. They insisted, even though we told them it was not necessary. Not only did they make us another pizza, they did not charge us for either of the pizzas they had brought us. They made us feel like we were the only guests in a restaurant that was completely filled.Great service, great food and a wonderful vibe.highly recommended.HT and HB

We went for our daughters 4th birthday, all the food was delicious, beautiful place and servers very friendly. I’m gluten free and I can honestly say this was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. We had to call the waiter over to double check if it was actually gluten free. We accidentally forgot our leftovers and they went above and beyond. Will definitely be back!

Defina Wood Fired is our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. We come almost weekly and are always greeted with warm hospitality and delicious food. The restaurant is very kid-friendly; they go out of their way to accommodate our children's dietary requests, while still serving top notch creative food for my husband and I. One of the servers, Nick, deserves a special mention. We are thrilled whenever he serves our table. He is warm, professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and a delight to talk to. Thank you Nick and the Defina Wood Fired team for creating such a special spot!

Absolutely great restaurant. We had a party of 15. All of the food was amazing. Our server was fantastic and friendly, as were all of the staff.The decor is beautiful and terrific for small or large groups. A very modern but natural, intimate atmosphere. The variety of drinks were very nice and we had an amazing time.. will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: They were able to make some changes due to dietary restrictions. Just ask nicely and they will do their best to accommodate.
We had a wonderful dinner here. The pizzas were delicious and the atmosphere was very stylish. The waiters were very polite, especially Bedirhan, who welcomed us very warmly and friendly so that we had a pleasant evening. Thanks.

Ordered takeout to have ready for 5:45 pickup. Got to restaurant and we were told they accidentally punched it in to be ready for 6:30pm, so they had not even started making our order. They apologized, but did not offer to comp anything or give us anything while we waited. When the food was finally ready, a staff member named Neil (who might have been a supervisor / manager) apologized again but had the audacity to say “but we learn patience is a virtue right?”. The pizza was good, but after that experience and comment ? No thank you, not going back.
