Americano was subpar- like it came from a hotel machine. The staff behind the espresso bar were complaining about a customer- it was unprofessional.

Coffee is great. Pastries are good. The staff remind me of Jack Black at the record shop in High Fidelity. If you know, you know.

Love that they have another pop-up style location! They have lots of seats around to have quick coffee meetings?

Stopped by for a quick drop in coffee with a friend. I ordered a mocha and a pistachio loaf; which is more of a muffin than a loaf. Nevertheless, both items were good and received quick customer service. The lobby is quite nice and is typically full of people working, so seating may be hard to come by. Having read other customer reviews about incorrect pricing, I am not sure that I would want to revisit.

I’ve been to this place a couple times when I visited downtown Toronto and while it is a pretty legit coffee for an affordable price it can be a hit or miss sometimes. For instance when I most recently visited my coffee was made way too hot making the drinking experience unenjoyable and it didn’t resonate with the roots of true Italian coffee. With the equipment here being top notch La marzocco machines I would expect a more consistent outcome each time. Nevertheless this place is still a good find and I would go back if needed but I feel like other coffee spots in downtown Toronto are much more consistent.

I used to frequent this location often but have stopped as a result of the unethical billing practices as mentioned by other reviewers. I made a formal complaint summer '22 and nothing's changed.Their pricing menu above the cashiers are all inaccurate to what you're billed. There is no screen for you to see the prices as you make your order. And there is no signage indicating that the prices above are not accurate in the least. And they also NEVER offer you your receipt. The excuse I got more than a year ago was "the sign is in the process of being updated and we're waiting for the new one to come in."Clearly that was a lie to continue falsely overcharging customers and taking advantage of the clientele of the financial district.Someone call Pat Foran of CTV's Consumer Alert.

My go-to place for coffee on Bay St. Despite closer alternatives to my office, I make sure I take the (small) detour, I like my coffee bold & strong in the morning, Dineen doesn't disappoint. Nice atmosphere and seating space, this coffee shop is a great addition to Commerce Court, bringing a warm and lively atmosphere to a lobby who would have been otherwise very cold and uninviting. While I use this location mainly for take-out purpose, I would recommend the other nearby Dineen on Yonge street for a longer sit-down meeting given it is in a historical (and beautiful) building and they have a unique patio in the summer.

I love Dineen and have been a customer since 2014. But the barista in this location lacks experience. I ordered a half syrup PSL cuz I wanted it to be less sweet. The barista made a very sweet PSL and confirmed it was half syrup when I asked. It didn’t taste like a half syrup drink. Furthermore, the $6 latte was not full and there was no latte art. I tasted the drink and found it too sweet to drink. Had to ask her to add more milk. The barista splashed milk when steaming milk.. overall, the coffee did not carry the Dineen standard.
