A great wine bar with cozy seating, great music playing, and delicious food. The service was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines on offer and made welcome recommendations. Did not disappoint!

What an amazing experience. The wine selection is amazing, something for every pallet with a great explanation of the nodes, region and pairing. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the oysters, croquettes, chorizo sausage and peppers, brussel sprouts and dill aioli was out of this world, fennel salad and finished with the delicious apple pie with cheddar crumble. An amazing experience, each bite better than the last. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!!

Relaxed vibe with amazing service and food. Loved the white wine pairing with the tuna crudo. Mushroom toast, seared cabbage and octopus were tasty. And if you save room for dessert, you will thank yourself for getting the in-house crumble pie ?
Great place to grab a bite to eat or a glass of wine. Special shout out to Ian and his team for the hospitality.

Today, on Thursday December 28th,after work, we drove for 2 hours in a heavy traffic, drizzling rain and fog from Barrie to Candlelight Concert in Toronto. We were lucky to find the last parking spot in a Green public parking lot on Jerrard Street, after what we ventured the street in search of a dinner. It was dark, wet and cold outside. We were outrageously hungry...and most of the restaurants were closed or booked fir the night. By very chance we knocked at the door of East End Vine and asked if we can have something to eat in there without having a wine( we knew it was a place that serves tapas and wine). We were pleasantly surprised by very warm and friendly welcoming staff. We were immidiately seated and served with several generously sized amazing tapas plates: croquettes, salmon tartar, double fried potatoes ( yamm), octopus, chorizo and ....Apple Cake for dessert. Yes, we didn't have wine ..but I had a hot cup of tea ?!Food was delicious and very special!Everything was served in a flush...as long as we were cleanings the plates ???. Young man who served us was very nice and knowledgeable. He advised us on their special nights and gave us some useful tips about the area.I will recommend this place to all my friends!
Had pretty high expectations going in and this place far exceeded them. A true gem. Croquettes are ridiculously

Went to East Eng Vine last night for a pre birthday celebration. The food, wine and service were all excellent. The owner spent time explaining different wines and made excellent suggestions for wine pairings.
What an unexpected treat! Had a outstanding meal with amazing wines - delivered and chosen by Ian (the owner and sommelier). Excellent value, delicious food, and interesting wine pairings. Shhhhh....don't tell anyone!

Everything about the night, my first visit with a very special friend, was exceptional. Food. Wine. Service. Atmosphere. I cannot rate EEV higher than 5, otherwise I would. This is the best Toronto Resto experience I have had in a very long time. Thank you for making it such a special night. Cheers! See you soon.
