Myself and my business associates recently visited and were looked after by the magnificent Shane, a throwback of bartenders from a bygone age, charming, good humoured, mannerly and most importantly skilled behind the sticks. The overall quality of service was excellent, drinks served in a prompt and timely manner, we had a splendid evening.

Recently went to Gabbys with my husband and had a great time. We sat at the bar and had a lovely chat with the bartender Shane. He was super friendly, offered great service and was attentive to my allergies. Will be back!

very bad service, the bartender is rude, I visited the place with my wife and he had racist attitudes, we are regular customers and we always gave tips because we are aware of people's work and because my wife works in the middle, we live in the building since the front, we were going to get some drinks and takeout, he literally threw the cup holder at my wife and I, then we ordered a cocktail that my wife always orders and wanted to make, this guy is really, he is despicable, he has no values or I respect. For women, I do not recommend this place. I think the manager is bald, please do not visit this place, there is a lack of education and respect for women.

The bartender was extremely rude just for asking a drink that they can make but is not on the menu even when we’ve been there many times and consume. (Always giving a good tip). Never coming back

The server Rob was amazing and very helpful! It was super busy at some point and only him serving everyone ?‍? All the stars for that ✨ drinks were OK, beer was great! Parmesan fries could’ve used more Parmesan, but other than that, it was all good ✨

Went in there for the first time about a month ago. Had Burgers and fries, worse Burger I have ever had, dry bun, mushroom cheese patty cold and tasteless. Waited a long time for the food,no apologies, fries tasteless and salty, very small size desert for almost $10 with taxes. Only one NEW staff serving...bad service food etc...although the bar tender were friendly ...

It's a nice neighborhood pub, which serves solid pub fare: chicken wings were great, as were the parmesan fries, and fish tacos. The server was a friendly and attentive Irishman, and we had a nice time in their comfortable booth. I can't speak to the hotel itself, but the bar is a long-standing gem in a neighborhood that has seen a lot of change, sandwiched between low-income high-density housing, and posh old-monied gentrification.

I love Gabby’s period ! and I would like to express this sentiment by the following poem!In Toronto's heart, where dreams take flight,There's a bar that shines with pure delight.Gabby's Isabella, a gem in the city's night,Run by Shane and Bill, the Irishmen so bright. With laughter and cheers, the mood is set,A place where friends and strangers can easily connect. The spirit of Ireland, in every pint and ale,Gabby's Isabella, a lively, welcoming tale. From Guinness to whiskey, the drinks flow free,In this cozy bar where all are meant to be.Shane and Bill, with hearts open wide,Guide patrons through stories on this joyful ride. With music that resonates deep in the soul,At Gabby's Isabella, spirits find their goal. From folk to ballads, the melodies soar,In this Irish haven, forever to explore. So here's to Gabby's, where memories are made,Where the soul of Toronto finds its serenade.Shane and Bill, the masters of the bar,In their Irish embrace, we're never too far.In Gabby's Isabella, we raise a glass high,To the friends and the laughter, under the night sky.For it's in this place, we find our retreat,A piece of Ireland in Toronto's heartbeat.Special Mention :Anastasia and Ashley are the angels !They go above and beyond at every given opportunity !

I used to come every Thursday to attend Ty's Karaoke Nights in a relaxed atmosphere with good beer and super-friendly service. I won't be coming back to this bar after what happened on Thursday November 2. An alcoholic woman insulted and hit Ty. We tried to separate them and Ty and I were inveigled by the barman of the establishment for allegedly assaulting this woman. We all took it in turns to explain the situation in Ty's defense, but we were up against a wall, an ill-mannered, condescending man who prefers to sit behind his bar rather than protect the people who are PAID to intervene in his establishment and who, incidentally, generate traffic and sales. He didn’t even bother to kick that woman out. Everyone present at the bar that evening knew that Ty had nothing to do with what happened, but the barman wouldn't listen to us or try to understand. Finally, we learned that the bartender made Ty leave the bar an hour before the end of his karaoke night! Such an attitude is absolutely unacceptable and unworthy of the service the franchise wants to return. We will continue to patronize Gabby's other franchises in support of Ty, but will never return to this bar. We hope that Gabby's Isabella will take precautions with its staff, especially its bartender, and that Ty will receive a minimum apology for the unacceptable treatment he received. Shame.
