Spent 2 hours last night (Good Friday) for take out. It was chaos, way more patrons than they could handle. My fish was cold and tough and the batter was dry. I can only assume it was prepared before and reheated. My fries were cold and limp. $40 dollars wasted!

Very surprised with the little Gem. I have always seen this place but just randomly decided to go there. Excellent Fish and chips! Batter is almost like tempura, it's so delicious. Fries are hand cut. Very cool crowd of Scottish seniors filled the house. Lots of seating, parking. They have haggis and blood sausage ( call ahead to make sure they have it) simple fish and chips or burger menu. Loved it will return!

The fish and chips from here are very good. Wrapped in paper which reminds me of London. The portions are a very good size. Unfortunately, the mushy peas were sold out, but I will come back again.

Where to start.. the halibut was perfect. Many places in the city it's just dried out, this was soft and flakey and the batter was just the right amount of crispy. They were busy but the food came out fast, the waitress was very friendly.The onion rings were on point, the fries were just OK and so was the Caesar salad.Also, they give you a frosted glass with your beer!
Super fresh, so good and the restaurant is so modern and welcoming.
