The food isn’t bad, the problem is that the portions of sashimi to rice is really off. You pay for a lot of rice with very little sashimi layered thinly. For this price point, I’d rather walk down to Japango down the way rather than eat here. Same quality but more sashimi

I ordered the eel dish, and I got a piece with a million bones! I was told by the server that sometimes eels come with bones! This should be placed on the menu as a disclaimer saying..if you order eel, there's a huge possibility of seeing fish bones! I only barely ate the meal and was told they're gonna give me 10% discount, but I protested that I couldn't possibly continue eating the meal, so 10% discount wouldn't matter. If I didn't make a stink, they wouldn't have offered to void that meal and pick another on the menu. The dining experience was shattered right there. And my appetite was gone. I wouldn't go back

Cash is 5% off. Decently tasty but I felt there can be more fish provided at the price points, as it was mostly rice. Servers were friendly, dishes were served decently quickly. Seating was on the tighter end given the space and layout.

The server was friendly and looking after us. Sashimi was very fresh. Don was a little blend for me, maybe I didn’t know how to eat. The aburi sushi was so nice but a bit pricey. The food is amazing but a bit over priced compared to other sushi places overall.

The food here was really good! My partner and I got the Nagoya don and Bara don. The only issue that happened was with the bill. I asked to pay with cash and the server brought a bill with tip INCLUDED already on the bill. Not sure if this is common practice at this place or not but I would’ve really preferred to leave my own tip. Even if this was the normal practice at the restaurant, they should've informed customers prior

This restaurant has such amazing food & service!! It’s spacious to accommodate individuals just stopping by and groups of people. I got the Tsukiji Don which I thought was pretty good! The fish was very fresh & I will definitely be back!

Nice ramen! You can see the noodles being hand made through the window facing the street. Gives us a nice fresh feeling.Good sized portions. Rich broth and very flavourful.I didn't particularly like the coriander taste, but that's just a personal preference. If this had been mentioned on the menu, I would have chosen something else.Service reasonably fast.Overall, a place worth coming back for ramen.

So good ! We went there with a friend just before I took the road to Montreal. I was a little worried that it would be too heavy but ultimately not at all! I had a Nagoya-don which was delicious. The takoyaki was also very good. I only have one regret: there is no Hana Don in Montreal.I will go back there when I come back to Toronto for sure!

As much as I would want to like this place, unfortunately, it was quite a downer for me. I found it to be overhyped and overpriced. For $25 per bowl, we got a disappointing portion and the taste was very ordinary as well. The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy, but these two reasons are not enough for me to come here again.

The Don bowls were great, unfortunately they didn't have the pork belly don (buta don), or gyu and sous vide gyu-tan don so we opted with the Nagoya don. Which was also good. The chicken karaage was spicy but perfectly crisp. The eel don (unatama) was yummy but I found the sauce to be on the sweeter side. Overall the food was great! I highly recommend the Hana roll and karaage as well.

Stopped in for a mid day snack. The space was modern and clean and the seating was comfortable. We ordered a sushi roll and a gyudon combo which came with a miso soup. The food was all very delicious, and the service was pleasant. Would return.

This is a great little restaurant near Yonge-Dundas serving Donburi and Japanese dishes. Their service is great and our food was brought to us promptly. I tried their Bara Don which had a variety of fresh sushi grade fish, tamago, cucumber, and a delicious sauce over a bed of rice. It was surprisingly flavourful and filling.
