Hapa is amazing. Went for dinner. Raina, my server was on point. Drinks were well made. Shout outs to Anvy. Steven, the GM, was very friendly and professional.

From the food to the staff, everything is phenomenal. Hapa is always a vibe and you can never go wrong with the food choices, whether it's the hapa pockets, steak & frites or the sushi, you will be satisfied. Management and bartenders are top notch. Always a top choice bar in Toronto.

We were a great fan of Hapa Izakaya ? in Vancouver and was excited to walk past this place. We had to go in.We were told the two locations were owned by different owners but we could see some similarities.First, excellent cocktails. We had a Murasaki Ultra and Tokyo Gentlemen.Second, delicious small plates. We had shishito peppers, yuzu red wine avocado salad, and truffled kinoko meshi. Shishito peppers were slightly fried and bite sizes. It increased your appetite. So did yuzu red wine avocado salad. At first, I doubted how the ingredients could fit together, but it turned out a great combinations. Truffled kinoko meshi was the champion of food tonight. It was on a sizzling hot stone bowl. The super heat on the bowl will burn the rice and gave it a crispy texture. Our server did a very good job as well.We also enjoyed seeing three televisions? showing three different animations at the same time.

A good casual spot for sake and small plates. I appreciated the carb zero sushi dish for a diet-friendly option with good protein that is not a salad (thank you for that). Our favourite was the salmon oshi sushi and oysters. Attentive and friendly service. We'd go back.

We went on a Saturday night and we were disappointed. The food was mediocre. We had the Mac& cheese and it was extremely greasy. The sushi was not French and tasted fishy. The restaurant looks way better on pictures. We expected more.

Service was friendly and the food was delicious. We were there for happy hour so we tried a bunch of different items. The fries were crispy and the shrimp taco and pork belly lettuce wraps were tasty.
