I am rating this place 4 because I do genuinely like it, and don't want to hurt their rating. I just want to tell the company that on at least 2 occassions, I have taken bites of vegetables that have tasted moldy and had to spit them out. I understand the concept behind the business model and want to support it...but they need to be more diligent when sorting through produce and throw away anything that looks moldy. I will continue going here in hopes that this issue is corrected, because I do very much like the bowls... But I don't like eating moldy food, and if not corrected then I will probably stop going. I order often, so its not every time...but I would say at least twice in the past 2 months. :/ I hope this feedback is helpful.

The best healthy takeout in liberty! I got a regular bowl and the portion was giant, the price was extremely reasonable especially for the area, and they threw in a few soup! The lady I spoke with was so incredibly nice and the food is bomb, just a great spot all around.

Purchased the Chipotle bowl on black rice.Service was agreeable, food was delicious, wholesome and reasonably priced, restaurant was clean and agreeable. Strong recommend.

Went for a quick takeaway order for matcha iced tea and a chicken bowl, the tea was good a little watery then normal even when I said I didn't want ice in it. And for the bowl, I had to wait for 10-15 mins to order as everybody at the shop were eating and on a break ON THE SAME time, which I completely don't understand why. But upon getting the bowl, turns out the wait for it was almost waste, as there was some uncooked rice in it which kept getting in the way to eat. Would still like the place and visit it for the ambience and the aesthetic vibe as well as the matcha latte though

I've been a really big fan of Imperfect Fresh Eats after discovering them downtown a while back but I'm not sure if they've changed their products and/or preparation methods but I've had the same meal at different locations now and it just hasn't been hitting the same way it used to.As always, I ordered a large Surf n' Turf bowl with roasted potatoes. First thing I noticed was with my sauces: the sweet chilli is the same old delicious sauce but the peanut sauce (which was always the highlight of the meal) was runny and lacking it's old rich nutty flavor! For the bowl itself, I found they gave a lot more noodles and less of everything else (e.g. there was barely any sweet potato mash!) The meat was kind of dry and grainy. The roasted potatoes were hard... It was just overall not very enjoyable which is disappointing considering this used to be a meal I craved and traveled for.

Anushka and the staff at this location are always accommodating to my requests, even if they are confusing or off the menu. They are always smiling and the food is always fresh, healthy, and delicious. I go here probably too much. If this isn’t the best Imperfect location, well I’ll be damned!!!

I'm a regular customer at this imperfect kitchen. I've tried a few bowls, and they were all good. My favorite is the chicken chipotle bowl. It's a healthy and delicious option at an affordable price. Anushka, who works there, is always welcoming with a smile.

Had a long day & too lazy to make dinner, so I ubered a build-a-bowl. Everything was so tasty! I'm a sucker for sweet potato noodles, so I got that, the roasted veggies & spinach as the base, basically all the fresh veggies and the chipotle chicken. All the veggies were fresh and the chicken was nice and tender. The chipotle ranch sauce went well with the chicken, but the noodles definitely needed soy sauce (or any citrusy sauce) - which I always have on-hand. Amazing portions and plenty of gluten-free options. 9.5/10

I come here all the time can we please look at the portion of protein (shrimp) they gave me today? Like 5 pieces of micro shrimp. Also garlic butter shrimp? Try straight from the freezer not even salt just defrosted. Look at that single layer of sad shrimp. Genuinely embarrassing for the price you pay. Also new girl they hired has such an attitude. This place was always 5 star in my books I would tip them but after this i doubt I’d go back.
