I was intrigued by the mochi donuts, drawn in by their unique appearance and the seller’s exciting description. Expecting a special treat, especially considering the price point of $4.75 each, I was looking forward to a unique culinary experience. Unfortunately, the donuts did not live up to my expectations. They were surprisingly mediocre, reminiscent of something I might pick up from a standard Tim Hortons, rather than the exceptional treat I was anticipating. On a positive note, the atmosphere of the place was quite charming and added a pleasant touch to the overall experience.

Not big on doughnuts, ever. However we wanted a "surprise" treat and went here. We bought 3 doughnuts. And 1 outta 3 got a rave review. We bought one with a black sesame biscuit with it. In all honesty I do not recall the flavours, it could have been red bean, it could have not been. The biscuit was good, the doughnut lacked flavour. And that was disappointing. The other doughnuts, the one with puffed rice on top. Again, the topping was legit, yet the flavour of the doughnut was just so bland. And waiting to consume these doughnuts also impacts the flavour. As they were not eaten right away and the puffed rice topping became soft. The last one with the butter cream on it, may have been a pumpkin flavour. . . This doughnut was good and the butter cream was also tasty. All in all, my inability to remember the flavours kinda tells you they aren't very strong or potent. I believe one was a tea flavour. And it was just so weak. Tea, alone, sometimes can be on the weak side, so brewing it longer & making it stronger in flavour especially when the intention is to use it as a flavour component in a baked good, is 100% needed! Perhaps the flavours aren't what Isabelle's mochi donuts is going for and its more in the style of donut and it being mochi-chewy, earthy and texturally divergent from conventional donuts. And in that, they have my vote. Its different. The ambiance to me is tres bizarre. I feel their use of space needs improvement. Service was okay.

My favorite donut is original glazed. Not too sweet, very chewy. Wish they have a store in Toronto west or Mississauga.

Came here for their mochi donuts! It is a bit pricey. $4.50 per donut. I was so tempted to get half a dozen but that was $25. So I stuck to just 2, passion fruit and mango. Both were very flavourful, however I didn't feel like it was the best mochi donut I've ever had! There isn't too much parking nearby as well, you may be able to find street parking or paid P parking close by.

Stumbled on this shop while strolling through Koreatown. A serene place with unique options to choose from. The donuts have a nice chewy texture; each bite was a perfect balance of sweet, soft, and delicious!Only cons I found were that the donuts go for $4.50 each, a little pricey!! And the boutique doesn’t allow patrons to dine inside which I found odd! They do have a Photo Booth set up in the corner.
