Finally decided to stop by after living in the neighbourhood for two years. Had the chicken bacon avocado sandwich. It’s the little details in sandwiches like this, like the pepper sprinkled on the avocado. Service was immediately very friendly. Super fast. Every ingredient was fresh and fit together perfectly. And price wise!! I don’t think they can be beat. Definitely worth it and I will be back!

We have come here several times and have been impressed by the cleanliness and coziness of the place. However, today when we ordered perogies, we noticed that the mother (?) chose to put no onion garnish on ours and all the onion garnish on another customer's order. Interesting, because I had just told my partner before coming in that I noticed a difference in treatment. I find that Joanne's is more inclined to treat other customers better than Korean or younger ones. This is a shame and an old school way of being. While the food is good, clean, and fresh, there is discrimination here that is undeniable. If the owner is reading this, she knows what I am talking about and remembers us. You shouldn't treat customers that you don't think matter like this. You will lose business, you have lost ours, and you have certainly lost our respect.
