FOOD: oysters is decent but main courses are failure, they completely forgot one of our dish.• Oysters: I tried every BC & PEI oysters on the menu, some of them are good and some are just ok.• Warm Lobster Roll: not bad but not that good either, not so much lobster in there and it's dry.• Crispy Fish and Chips: the fish is mushy inside and not very crispy outside, very disappointing.SERVICE: beside forgetting one course in my order, the service was decent. Later on the server sit down at the bar and starting eating which doesn't seem very professional.VIBE: classic "seafood restaurant by the water" vibe, nice decoration.

We sat at the bar and service directly from the bartender who was very charismatic. We ordered a Guinness and dirty martini to start which was very good. We ended up splitting a few dishes. We had the clam chowder: it was good, but I didn’t really like carrots in it and found it very light on clams, only a few small pieces of clams. Oysters are served with fresh grated (right in front of you) horseraddish and multiple hot sauces - try the habanero. And lobster roll - we had the cold (other option is hot). It was so good and full of lobster. Highly recommend.

A friend and I went in for dinner on a Friday, and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.The staff were so lovely and knowledgeable, one of them gave us an oyster shucking demonstration, and were calm and had the space to chat with us and each other, no stress or chaos that we could see.The food was incredible - we got 2 rounds of oysters paired with some scotch, then shared the scallop and tuna BLT dishes, then the keylime pie and pumpkin maple cake - would recommend them all.We so look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Best seafood restaurant in Toronto! The seafood is 10/10, every dish was fresh and done so well, atmosphere is relaxed, and John’s the man!

Date night here with wife on Saturday night. Small place, quaint atmosphere. Oysters to start great assortment, taste and presented well. Next the clam chowder. Worst choice. Small bowl maybe 4-6 oz. Thin, runny, not much flavour like someone just poured cream and some milk over boiled potatoes, celery and carrots. 1 clam in the bowl. Went for simplicity with fish and chips. Chips great shoe string style. Crispy but seriously under seasoned. Missing salt. Haddock. Clearly frozen. Crispy batter and a generous piece of fish but season the fish before you fry it. Please. That was a theme throughout the meal. Key lime pie for desert. Wasn't bad. Please has great potential, but limitations from under seasoned food will make diners not return. Overall 6/10

Made a reservation here for 7:30 on Saturday Nov 2023. The place was half full. We got 18 oysters and a couple drinks. The oysters were the smallest I’ve ever seen. They were like comically small. The service took forever. If I hadn’t flag downed the server they would’ve forgot I was there. we didn’t even bother ordering mains and just asked for the bill. Oh and when the bill came I reluctantly tipped and it was over $140 for basically nothing. I felt like I had been robbed. Just go to Rodney’s if you want oysters. This was the worst dining experiencing I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve never reviewed anything before, however I feel like have to warn people as dining become increasingly expensive our date night as a newly married couple was ruined.

Came here for our anniversary. Amazing fresh food, awesome and friendly owner, no restaurant like it downtown.A touch expensive but very reasonably priced given the quality and type of food. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our food, with oysters to start and Lobster Roll and Thai Curry Mussels.Unfortunately, the atmosphere/ambience was ruined by a large birthday party (Happy 50th!) that the restaurant had booked. The space is really small, and isn't really set up for booking a stand up cocktail party. The party-goers were just standing in the aisle between the tables, with one group standing about a foot away from us, and yelling loudly to be heard over the rest of the party.
