This is 100% our go-to sushi spot in the Beaches neighbourhood.Our go-to order is;Japchae with bulgogiAsparagus roll with spicy mayoYam tempura roll with spicy mayoEdamameBroccoli tempuraAlways fresh, remarkably quick on Uber Eats and simply delicious!We have tried many other items as well - there’s never been something we have tried that we didn’t enjoy. I would recommend Kibo to anyone looking for a quick meal in the area.Price is on par with what is expected from a sushi restaurant and worth every penny!We have never dined in but in driving by the restaurant there seems to be an option to do so.

I just picked up a combo spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls 8 pieces each. I can't determine if it's real salmon or tuna let alone which is tuna or salmon.It's chopped which is not my favorite but this looks like it's mixed with filler. Picture on right is off their website other 2 are what I got. Not fresh, too much spicy messy mayo and not impressed.

They accepted an order and at first it was delayed by 15 minutes and then when my husband arrived at the restaurant to pickup the order we got a text it would be another hour! Ridiculous. Don't accept orders if you can't handle the workload just stop taking orders.

This location is one of the few good sushi joints in southwest Scarborough. I recommend using their online website to order as it is most effecient. You can also order in person or by door dash. Servings are good sizing. Fish is always fresh and fried picks are done well but never overdone. Pricing has increased quite a bit since when they opened but I assume that is inflation to blame. Prices are fair but expect to pay $70 for a night out for 2. Service has always been a little slow at this location as it really is the equivalent of a takeout booth. They could add another staff member for front of house service however I understand why they don't as there isn't really any profit from adding that person. Overall, expect to wait to be served at the counter/pick up food. Double check your order before leaving to be safe. Still one of the best sushi picks in Southwest Scarborough. Note: This location is take out only. All items are served in to go containers. I plated my sushi for the picture. Street parking is limited availability and this location is not wheelchair accessible (here is a step to get in.)

Not a fancy location (no dine-in at present) but our sushi order was quick and delicious. We gave no special instruction but everything from chopstick to soy sauce to wasabi was already in the bag. Friendly service (and yes she was pretty) and quick turnaround.Recommended!

Yesterday we ordered delivery from this restaurant and specified that we wanted chopsticks and soy sauce. Not only that the request was ignored and we were left without chopsticks, soy sauce and napkins, the box was also not sealed with a sticker confirming that no one had opened our sushi on the way. This is not the first time we have ordered kibo sushi (previously we ordered from another location) we have had no such problems. But we won't be ordering from Upper Beach again. The staff is indifferent and inattentive.
If the avocado is rotten, don’t put it in the roll.

The Kibo Sushi on Lakeshore in Etobicoke is absolutely pathetic. The only this worse than the substandard dirty take out only atmosphere is the attitude of the employees.
