I ordered the complete taster set because "why not?".Shannon was super easy to work with. Kwento bodieddd!I opened the boxes alongside my partner and we gasped at the beauty of them. Delicious. My favourite is the Vanilla Cardamom with Yema and Salted Caramel.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Will always recommend!

In my opinion, Prices are way too high, $50 for a small cake. The small cake was dense & filling enough for 2-4 people (depending on appetite) or spend the same amount dinner for nice dinner for 2 downtown here. The designs are really cool but attitude of the Owner is horrendous. Equivalent of a over grown child. It honestly ruined the experience & won’t bring me or any of my friends back. The aesthetic is nice and the cake tasty but I would legitimately only pay $30 or even 20 for what they’re charging $50 for.Update: don’t lie to yourself and everyone else, this is my honest opinion and review after spending money here. If you don’t like it I’m sorry.

Going by all the high reviews, my son ordered a 60th birthday confetti heart-shaped short cake with strawberry filling for me. Although the icing was beautiful, the cake had exactly 1 strawberry sliced and sparsely filled, was dry and tasted as if it had been prepared many days before the delivery date. 93$ was very steep for the cake and a waste of money. They don’t offer delivery either.

Extremely disappointed by the quality of the cake. Total lack of flavour and completely tasteless. The cake did not taste fresh and there was only one strawberry cut into pieces in the whole cake. Also no effort made to provide even a partial refund or any type of compensation shows that they don't really care about customer feedback and they don't value their customers.There are bakeries in Toronto like Daan Go Cake Lab that have delicious cakes for half the price so Kwento is a complete waste of money and is extremely overpriced.
I’ve ordered from Kwento twice to make something magical for my celiac friend. And twice they have KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! First was a flawless, classic piping (confetti!) beaut, and the second was this incredible pastel rainbow dream, salted caramel cake. Both times, people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had. Not best GF cake ever, but best cake. They’re beautiful pastry wizards at Kwento.
