This was a little difficult to find, as soon as you walk in the door there are four different stalls selling extremely similar items. Don't fall for the aggressive sales pitches, go to the stall in the back and to the right.We had the pastor's, and couldn't have been happier. Juicy meat, fresh pineapple, double layered corn tortilla - yum.I dropped one point from the "atmosphere" only because there is nowhere to eat. Normally this isn't an issue, but this is a messy meal - if you're a troglodyte like me, your hands and face will be covered with taco shrapnel at the end of it - and the provided napkins weren't up to the task.Solve the problem by bringing some wet naps with you and you'll be much better off than I was.With that said - Don't let the last point dissuade you from going, this is my new favourite taco spot in the city - I'll be back every time I'm in the neighbourhood.

Service was fast and friendly and they were nice tacos, I’d recommend getting some if you’re in the area.But by no means the best I’ve had in Canada. Not even close. So don’t think the ‘best in Toronto’ reputation is worthy, so I wouldn’t recommend travelling across town specifically to come to this place like I did.

Stopped in here while checking out the market blocks, The location itself has multiple options inside. The lady's at La Chilaca were very warm and friendly and immediately engaged in small chat that made me feel welcome and drew me to order from them. Not to mention their quite "easy on the eyes" hahaha. The food was well priced, fresh and delicious. Being bold i asked for the authentic heat and definately no regrets. Will definately stop by when im back in the area.

Delicious torta but not on authentic torta bread. Very messy to eat but worth the multiple napkins. Service was very good and friendly. Ambiance was like street vendors. Love it. Will definitely be back. Recommend to everyone to try.
