Came here with the girls on a Sunday during happy hour. Didn't think we were going to stay a whole three hours and we pretty much got everything on the menu. Our waitress was fantastic, as well as everyone who stopped by the table. Everybody was very knowledgeable. The food was evenly timed out because we did order everything. They made sure that we didn't have a lot of food on the table to get cold beverages were fantastic. Vibe was Vibin. I know they said this was Hawaiian inspired not a lot of dishes gave me that feeling however, Asia has a big influence on these dishes. Regardless, definitely should be on your list to try. Must try dishes or the pork belly because that dipping sauce is amazing. Currently trying to replicate it at home. I also recommend the kimchi dip and the mushroom skewers were fantastic!! Book a reservation! Get there to try it out.

Lulubar is new bar-restaurant located at The Well along the exterior of the complex. It is loosely inspired by Hawaii and Hono'lulu'. The first level is the bar and the second level is the main restaurant. We came by as a medium sized group for lunch on a weekend and wasn't super busy. FOOD (4/5) We ordered a Hot Dog Bao (served w/ 2), Poke, and French Omelette. The Hot Dog Baos are served in a Chinese style gua bao with an aioli and top with candied nuts and cilantro. Good punch of flavours and a great appetizer. The poke is served very untraditionally, unconstructed if you will. It comes on a plate with the typical tuna, avocado and other poke ingredients. Except instead of rice, it is served with sesame puff chips as the starch for the dish. Good classic poke flavours but a bit strange to eat, since it felt like eating nachos. The french omelette is stuffed with dungeness crab and a green Thai curry. On the side, there is brioche toast and lettuce to form wraps and dip into the curry. The omelette is light and buttery but I expexcted it to be more fluffy as it was more dense than I would've preferred. The crab was nice, but most of the dishes flavour comes from the curry. Curry was herbacious, spicy, and well balanced with some acidity. The best bite for sure was a bit of the omelette, crab dipped in the curry on the brioche toast. DRINKS (n/a) We didn't order any drinks but I wanted to point out that they didn't have an extensive coffee menu. They only offered french press coffee which isn't everyone's cup of tea (or in this case coffee). SERVICE (4/5) Servers and wait staff were super friendly and stopped by the table to check in periodically. AMBIENCE (5/5) Both the bar downstairs and restaurant upstairs is well and cohesively furnished with soft toned woods and art. Really nice ane cozy vibe! VALUE (4/5) The quality of ingredients you get for the price you pay is not bad. I do wish portion sizes were a smidge larger for some dishes but the menu is geared more to shareables. ACESSIBILITY (4.5/5) Being located at The Well, you can get there via a number of streetcar routes. There is also paid parking, albeit expensive, available inderground. OVERALL (3.5/5) Lulubar is a great place to get together with friends and family either in the spacious restaurant or the downstairs bar. The food is pretty good and the interior design is really welcoming. Curious to see how their drinks are at the bar in the evening!

I loved the atmosphere and relaxing ambiance this restaurant gives. I enjoyed the service here and the drinks were unique. The menu is pricy so I recommend coming during happy hour. The snacks are single serving portions; I recommend ordering one per person and sharing it together.

Lulu has a really great vibe and is definitely going to turn into a hot spot for 2024! The food was good, especially the hot dog Bao! Their Happy Hour is amazing, every form of liquid is half price and the cocktails were really nice!

Great happy hour. Probably the best in the city. Nice fancy and boozy drinks. We had the Mai Tai and smooth operator. Drinks came out pretty quick. Smooth operator is better than Mai Tai even though it's not on their featured cocktail list. Lot of people get the nine lives drink because of how it's served. Next time I'll get that. Definitely get a reservation on open table for happy hour because they're very busy. I loved the ambiance. Lots of plants and warm ambiance. The miso cured eggs looked really good. I can't wait to come back and try.

Cute ambience. Staff were nice. Went during happy hour. Tried a few dishes and drinks. The appetizer portion is very small..I don't think it's worth the price during the non-happy hours. Drinks were OK... all drinks are $9 during happy hour. I ordered the matcha tiki and king tonka. I wouldn't order them again. If you like tikis then this place might a good choice. Happy hour is worth a try.

I like my oysters with no garments but this pineapple nuok cham sauce was amazing! The hot dog bao.. best snack I tried in a long time, I want another one right now. The lobster dumplings also great, especially the sauce. And the pork belly dices..yummy! I gave the food a 4 because we ordered a stake and I'm sorry but I like my stake in the fire! It was sous-vide which my partner caught instantly. It was good, but the flavour and texture is not the same I just would have wanted to know that before placing the order. The mushroom where really good. And service was perfect. The place is beautifully decorated and there's a grand space upstairs and a cozy area downstairs. It was not cheap but I will recommend and go back!

I live nearby and have been here 3 times since its opened because of the convenience and the space. It's two floors so don't be fooled when you see an empty first floor. Everyone will be on the second floor, it's gigantic with super super high ceilings. Must gets are the tuna poke, curry linguini and the beef tongue. The beef tongue is really underrated and it's sooooooo tender. I didn't believe it was beef tongue which is usually a bit chewy. They marinate it for a couple days I think. Service is nice, I just wish they were faster. We were left waiting sometimes and had to flag down the staff.

Cute space in the well. We went at happy hour on a Saturday and it was really busy. The service was friendly and it was friendly but no one took the time to explain the menu, tell us that it was happy hour, and ask if we were alright at any timeAnd they do not answer their phoneThe food was not so goodWe had the:Chip and dip: Chips were soooooo salty and the dip tasted like sour cream and SirachaKale salad: Kale had been barely massaged or broken down so the ingredients didn’t really come together as the dressing had an overpowering taste or garlic despite being really sweetPork belly: the small cubes were either really fatty or super dryHot dog bao: exactly what it sounds like. It had a bright pink colour and tasted like what you got in schoolI would stick with the half price drinks

Lulu Bar provided a delightful experience. We were added to their wait list despite not having a reservation, and subsequently seated at the bar. From the moment we arrived until the end of our meal, Robbie was always available to offer guidance on selecting drinks and courses that suited our tastes perfectly. We are eagerly looking forward to returning to Lulu Bar in Toronto and trying out their sister establishment.
