Regrettably, my recent experience at Mademoiselle Restaurant fell far below expectations, primarily due to the disrespectful and discourteous behavior exhibited by the staff. Despite the allure of the establishment's ambiance and cuisine, the treatment my family and I received was deeply disappointing and disheartening.Upon arrival at the restaurant with my service dog, we were met with unwarranted resistance from the security personnel stationed at the front door. Despite explaining the necessity of my service animal, we were abruptly denied entry, with no consideration or accommodation offered. The manner in which we were treated was not only disrespectful but also reflected a blatant disregard for basic human decency and legal rights.The attitude displayed by the staff throughout this encounter was nothing short of disgraceful. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to adhere to fundamental principles of inclusivity and respect left a lasting impression of disdain and disillusionment. As a result of this distressing experience, I have no intention of patronizing Mademoiselle Restaurant in the future, nor can I in good conscience recommend it to others.In conclusion, while Mademoiselle Restaurant may boast an appealing facade, the deplorable conduct of its staff tarnishes any semblance of charm or sophistication. Until meaningful steps are taken to address and rectify the issues of discrimination and disrespect, I cannot in good faith endorse or support this establishment.

Honestly, eat before you go here. Do not expect top quality food. I got served the worst shrimp cocktail I have ever tasted in my life - how do you mess up such a simple dish? Slow service but the waitresses are overworked, so. I would return for drinks only.

I had a reservation and couldn't get in. The security men at the door were extremely rude and didn't let us in saying they didn't accept reservations for the same day, even though I booked it online and if that's the case, the restaurant should block reservations for the same day instead of having guests coming over and not allowing them in. I was basically scream at and pushed away from the line. It was a terrible experience and they don't treat people with respect.

Went there with a group of friends and the complete worst customer service we have ever experienced in life! we were all visitors to toronto & this place was highly recommended to us but sadly from the beginning to the end we were treated so poorly. The bouncers made it known they were segregating us due to our BLACK skin & did not acknowledge our reservation and let around 50 people in before us while we were put to the side ‘until space was made’. Once finally allowed in we were yelled at to ‘walk faster’ as if they were bothered by us getting in. In the middle of the dinner i had stepped out to give a friend an ID & was yelled at by all workers in the front about be disturbing with my in & out of restaurant. food was great but would NOT recommend for BLACK AND COLOURED PEOPLE as they seem they only want a particular group of people in even though my friends and I spent over 4k.

Had family visiting from the states and brought them to Mademoiselle to celebrate their birthday. The service was bad, food cold, all came out very far apart, the waitress did not even know we were celebrating a birthday that’s how disconnected the experience was. Our seats were in a corner and no one paid us any attention. From the time our plates were taken to being able to pay totalled a wait time of 1 hr 15 mins. Twice their Pin pads did not work (rebooted) then our waitress would disappear for another 30 plus minutes after each attempt. I regret taking my out of town guests to Mademoiselle and ruining their birthday dinner. I do not recommend.

First off I would like to say I have been to Mademoiselle many times and have enjoyed the experience and the food but this time in particular I was uncomfortable and was disappointed. Let me explain, me and my girl came to a reservation on Friday night for 2. We were seated in a booth that was split into 3 tables. There was a couple to our right and a table of 6 men to our left. As the night progressed the table of 6 had a large amount of people coming to the point where they were crowded around our table. The couple to our right left and the party moved to the other side of the booth and about 10-15 more people came at this point so it was a party of about 21. Me and my girl were in the middle and we felt huddled over and uncomfortable. The servers did not tell them to move, but instead cleaned the table. In my opinion one of the two options would have made more sense 1. they should have been moved to a larger table or 2. They ask us to move down to the far table that way we aren't boxed in. I felt like we were being pushed out as we had the large group of people talking over us and over our food. A group of girls came and were seated so close to us that our thighs were touching and they were close enough to my bag to grab it if they wanted too. I couldn't even enjoy my food because the seating situation had me very uneasy.
Always a good time at mademoiselle! Food 10/10 as always but they made a change to the cocktail menu which I wasn't too keen on. Our server was kind of rude and standoffish initially which was really off putting. She did warm up eventually but by then the damage was done. I'll still return (hopefully we get a different server)
