Many kinds of Chinese bread! The lady boss is kind-hearted and beautiful. The price is very fair! The pineapple bun actually has barbecued pork inside, and the glutinous rice chicken is also delicious.

Best of the chinese bakeries in downtown. Lowest prices and best quality, bring cash. Favourite is the Cloud Cake.

Decent prices for a lot of different Chinese baked goods. Delicious steamed pork bum & pastry egg tart are my favorites.items are already pre-packaged individually or in a pack of 1, 2, or 3 in each pack. So no worries about contamination & uncleanness. Some items sold out quickly depending on dates & time. The store is pretty clean & nothing fancy about it. Basically, just get what you want & get out.No sit-in at all. cash-only & a minimum charge for debit.

Very clean bakery, with delicious, fresh, and cheap pastries and other baked goods. The lady helping with purchases was very kind and helpful. Would recommend 5/5.

It's hit and miss with the buns in this bakery. usually end up liking 50% of what I buy and the other 50% isn't tasty or edible.Due to the limited amount of bakeries in and around chinatown this cheaper spot has unfortunately become the top dog after a cheaper bakery closed down a few years ago.

Chinese bakery which sells bread and pastries for cheap! You can find things for under $2. They have milk tea and coffee that I can't wait to try.Their pineapple pork bun is possibly my favourite.

I love going to Asian bakeries since they're usually far less pricey than their European counterpart.By far, Mashion Bakery is one of the best Chinese style bakery in downtown Toronto. Once you step into the store you will find buns of all kind, baked or steamed, and various cakes stacked with cream and fruits and decorated with frosting. They're individually wrapped and it's a self-serve model where you take a tray and a pair of tongs and select whatever you like. One takeaway is to visit this bakery in the morning for best results. I find that the baked goods especially the buns and egg custard tarts are at their peak while still warm plus there's not a lot of choices left when you come in the afternoon or nearer to closing time.My top 3 go-to favourites here are the Cheese Beef Hotdog Bun, Pineapple Red Bean Bun, and Baked BBQ Pork Bun.Although a lot pricier compared to regular buns, the cheese beef hotdog bun is soft and tender and the quality of the beef hotdog is not bad at all. The pineapple red bean bun although a bit sweeter for my liking (due to the red bean filling) has a good ratio of filling to bread. I liked to get the baked version of the bbq pork bun rather than the steamed one because the bread is better.Prices are reasonable and definitely one of the best cheap eats in Toronto.

This place always serves up fresh bake goods. What I notice is the curry beef buns, pineapple coconut buns and bbq pork buns is usually all sold out after lunch and it’s best to go visit them around noon before the lunch rush.It is located just south of college and spadina by the Kensington market area of Chinatown. I like that every bun is packaged in a sealable bag for that extra fresh and germ free for those who are indecisive when picking up and realize they actually don’t want it, it’s also good for getting a feel of how soft the buns are.Definitely one of the staples for cheap eats in the Kensington/Chinatown area.

Compared to the 3 other Chinese bakeries in Chinatown I’ve tried, this one is BY FAR the best.Really tasty breads, cheap prices; I’ve gotten two full bags worth of goods here and it’s still under $20.LOVE the pork bbq so I highly recommend either the pork bbq baked buns or steamed buns. The hotdog buns are good too. My boyfriend also loves the sticky rice.If you come in early, the products will still be warm and freshly baked. Worth the visit!
