What a lovely place!! A friend and I shared some little plates and wine. The service was great, and all the food was delicious. We can’t stop thinking about the roasted white chocolate dessert! Will definitely be back.

We stopped in at midfield for a glass of wine before dinner with my 89 year old Grandma who is a notoriously picky person. The lovely human serving us (Gabriel!) was so patient with her bringing her sample after sample of wine to find a glass that she liked. We each loved the recommendations he gave and it was so sweet the patience he had with my grandma. She couldn’t stop talking about how much she enjoyed the experience and service for the rest of the night lol. Thank you Midfield!!!

I have been to midfield multiple times over the past 4 years and this place continues to surprise me. The wine and service are excellent and pair well with the atmosphere. However, the food at midfield is undoubtedly the highlight of the experience. The food is brought in from their supporting farm and the innovation, creativity, and flavours chef mark and the team bring to their dishes is mind blowing.I believe this place is highly underrated and I would recommend this place to anyone and highly advise you to indulge on the food they have to offer.

The wine tasted better because Kate R brought the vibess with her seductive wine descriptions and personalized, informative recommendations.

Very overpriced for what it is, for food at least. Felt pushed out by the service even when the place wasn’t busy. Wont come back

Great wine bar located on Dundas W Toronto. The ambience was amazing and the wine selection was comprehensive. However, the biggest surprise for me was the food. It surpassed my expectations. We ordered Pedro Ximenez wine - which we rarely see in most wine bars. The wine itself was interesting but the sherry notes were too prominent for my liking. The food was excellent. We picked the kampachi crudo (my fave), squash, gnocchi (least fave) and the market fish. The nori jam on the kampachi was the highlight for me. Additionally, it was great to see the menu is seasonal. All in all, it was a lovely experience and I’d recommend it!

Wonderful Wine Bar with exceptional service, very knowledgeable and the man working there looks like those biblical images of Jesus (but cool). He has to be the owner. Highly recommend if near Dundas great vibes in Jesus Name.

Wine was good, service was unusual and a bit rude, atmosphere was fine though.

Such a great, cozy environment surrounded by wine and plants! Staff is super lovely and friendly. Great variety of wine and interesting dishes to choose from. I went for the hen of the woods mushroom dish, rarely see it being on menu and it was tasty! Definitely recommend and will be back.

Came here for dinner and drinks with friends. Was close to empty when I arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night, but by the time we left it was packed. It's a wine bar, and their selection of wines is extensive. I'm no wine expert, but our server was helpful in providing direction and context when I asked for their opinion. I ended up with a skin-contact glass from the Niagara area which wasn't too out there while still having its own unique flair. The food was great- they'd just started their autumn menu. We ordered the eggplant, fries, potato dumplings, and blood sausage. They're built as sharing plates, but I was surprised at the amount of food we got, which was above average for this kind of fare. That's reflected in the prices though- expect to pay about $17 per plate. It perhaps felt like we were hurried out at the end of our stay, but even then the experience was great overall. Come for the wine!
