I’ve never had a better almond Pain au chocolat in my life ! Crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. Simply the best!

They amount of food they throw out is sinful. I work here and sometimes the workers are just so fed up of taking food home that they just toss it.

When I first came here in 2018, it was the best patisserie in Toronto, doing deliciously flaky, buttery, French style pastries. After the pandemic I came back and they changed the recipe - now the pastries are the dreaded North-American style, bready (not flaky), giant pastries. But still the same over-inflated prices.

Went for a master pastry class and it was so fabulous and fun! And getting to take home so many delicious treats was amazing!
Wow. I didn’t have much of an expectation walking in to the bakery but it greatly exceeded my expectation for an apple strudel. I cannot recommend it enough. It had the right blend of tangy yet sweet apple and cinnamon.

Everything I've had is great. I especially enjoy the almond croissants, and ham and brie sandwiches on a croissant.

Amazing cakes, but very small so getting a table can be tricky.
The only thing I’d consider repurchasing from here is the macarons. Like others have said, most things taste either like mass-produced pastries you would find in a grocery store aisle, or they’re just stale…which I guess is fine but don’t charge people nearly $10/piece then lol! Also, the ordering process is very dis-organized and the servers give 0 acknowledgement until you actually call them yourself, not even a smile. Its not an ideal place to sit in either- since it’s beside the park expect plenty of families inside.

This is the hardest pain au chocolat I’ve ever eaten in my whole life… I have trouble biting on it and chewing it. Layers are extremely thick. Outside is a bit oily. Not sure if the butter croissant is better but I don’t want to come back again to try it.

Coffee isn't as good as it used to be. Quality has gone way down. Prices way up. Bathrooms need a makeover.

This is my second time visiting Nadège. First time I came here in the summer 2023 and it was great. This time, on January 12, I came in to buy some treats for a birthday treat for a friend. To start off, the girl at the counter looked like she did not care and that she was doing me a great favour by serving me. I merely asked her if they had a specific dessert ( the one I have tried there in the summer and that has been sold by Nadège for ages) but I forgot the desserts name. I quickly found a picture of it on Nadeges own website and showed it to the staff member. She said dismissevely “ I have been working here since May, I have never seen it”. Hello, lady. This is your signature dessert and you just didn’t even care to look properly at the picture I was showing you.Ok, nevermind, moving on. I ordered five cakes to go and as we were eating them in the evening, they all tasted like something you would buy prepackaged at Dollarama with a expiry date of five years. Definately not worth $60 premium price. Never coming here again. Mediocre service and dry tasteless desserts. ?There are many much better places in the neighbourhood, such as Delysses, etc.save your money and buy a 6 pack of donuts at Nofrills for $3 and get a better service and taste.Cheers
