This is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. So glad it is opening again for indoor/outdoor dining!! The food is always absolutely delicious. This is a little hidden gem! I would give it more stars if I could!!

I love this restaurant for everything they do The liver, the steak, the fish…. But today we had a rack of lamb, and a monkfish on the best asparagus/ Lemon risotto in the entire world Both dishes were being packed when we arrived, and wee piping hot when we got home (15 minute drive) This chef can just do anything and I would love it

Have been on a mission for several years now to find the perfect Bouillabaisse in Toronto and Nord wins out every time. Our homemade concoctions have been very good, with lots of saffron and fresh fish from Osler Fish Market, but there is something elusive about the Nord version that keeps us coming back.

We ordered the Three-Course Prix Fixe menu online, and it was ready for pick-up at exactly the time designated. The chef's refreshing combination of a cool, spring pea/ mint soup, followed by a delicious Mahi-Mahi steak and robust salad dinner, finished with a whipped cream - topped chocolate mocha -- was absolutely delicious. Plus: the price was amazing for this meal. We are already planning our next order, which will likely include one of their three moules frites options. Thank you Nord!

We ordered food for pickup - 3 different meals, 3 courses with appetizer, main, and dessert. All of it was SUPERB.The restaurant makes it easy to order online and pick up. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. The food was packaged individually, freshly prepared, hot, clearly marked, and delicious.Nord Bistro has both a prix fixe and regular à la carte menu. I am really thrilled to re-discover this restaurant, which I used to frequent under a different owner. The quality and variety of the food is a pleasure , and I've already ordered again!

we have had the steak, the lamb, the liver, the chicken, the pasta, the cod,and the salmon. First of all, I can't believe how consistently hot the food arrives home from the restaurant. The steak was rare- medius,m rare, exactly as ordered. Every sauce or jus of some kind had been stellar. there is nothing on their menu iI am not prepared to try... as i am convinced that everything will be top notch.

We’d heard about nord from several friends - we are so glad we tried! Our meals were delicious!!! Highly recommend this lovely little restaurant that deserves to make it through the pandemic!!! Fresh, tasty, healthy, delicious food our entire (and often very picky!) family wholeheartedly enjoyed!!!
We’ve had the weekly takeout meal three times now and all three meals have been delicious. We’ll keep coming back.

They know what they're doing but it's not impressive. Solid meal, not over priced, could be much worse. Brunch menu was very limited in options.

Love, love, love this place!! Their food is beyond excellent, creative, innovative and always ready to eat. We live the take-out service. Please allow the one ‘but’: going out and sitting down at their wonderful place to have food there is just a one notch better. Clean, impeccable place, we are big fans!

Excellent neighborhood gem! We live in the neighborhood but never tried this restaurant until we were looking for a take out meal during the covid lockdown. This restaurant definitely exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed everything we ordered - crab cake, calamari, duck confit and the lamb shank. They are all perfect dishes for take out - we kept them warm in a low heat oven and it was great to enjoy simple, no fuss, high quality French bistro fare at home. Highly recommend, will be back for more.

A good French inspired bistro situated in a neighbourhood severely lacking in food choices, Nord Bistro serves good quality fare at slightly higher than normal prices.We had the Duck Confit and Lamb Burger for takeout. Both items were good. Confit was cooked well, but Risotto was lacking a bit in flavour. Lamb Burger was slightly dry and could use a bit more fat content. Frites were done well. Service was very friendly.Overall, a good dining experience.
