Comfortable neighbourhood pub & restaurant. Good food. Prices are reasonable. You can play online trivia as well. They also have a patio and the garage style door can be opened when weather permits.
I just googled family friendly restaurants in the area and Occasions came up. What a joke. I brought 4 of my friends with their families here for a few quick drinks before we all had to get the kids home for dinner by 6pm, (4 kids under 2 in total) The bartender that was on was at 4:30pm was lovely and served us with no issues, really great service.Then the female manager took over around 5:30pm and told us we needed to leave the bar area as they didn’t want kids in the bar area and if we could go to the restaurant area where there were other families….there were no other families there. That was a lie. She just didn’t want to serve us. She was beyond rude and aggressive. We were literally there for less than 1.5hrs and all of our kids were in their chairs not causing any harm when the request was made. There were 3 other people in the bar. Again….what a joke. We all were having 2-3 drinks and socializing after a long week and were totally caught off guard by this aggressive request, she was so rude.I have been in the service industry for over 15 years and would have NEVER talked to patrons the way this manager did. Not to mention there was literally NO ONE in the bar. I get kids can be loud and not what everyone want to be around but there was NO ONE there. Again it was a joke. We were there to spend a quick $200-$300 on drinks between all of us. Otherwise they would have been empty. Don’t go here with kids, they are NOT kid friendly.

Love this place. The food is amazing (especially the ribs and bugers) and the staff are super friendly.
I recommend this place and I hope to return here again in the future.I went here with a group of fifteen people. It wasn't very busy which might have made a difference.We got two tables near the front door and most of us paid with seperate bills.I was pleasantly surprised that they got everyone's orders correct and quick.I ordered the 12 ounce burger with fries and gravy and garlic bread and both were really great.Everyone was, as far as I could see, very happy with the food and service.The food amounts were very generous and hot.Everyone got something different it seemed.On my left Halibut and fries, on my right chicken fingers and putine. Across from me they got chicken wings. It all looked great.I highly recommend going here if your hungry and want your group to be very happy.

Great place for a fried breakfast with unpretentious, friendly service and plenty of coffee refills. Dinner options here are mostly "comfort food"; huge portions! Beer selection is pretty standard, but they do have Newcastle Brown on tap!
