The atmosphere was good and the restaurant was very nicely decorated, however my experience was not good.One of my guests was stuck in traffic and we were told we had till 3 to place an order as the kitchen closed at that time. They arrived at 2:50 and they were told they could not place a food order. Luckily, our waitress misheard us as we ordered food for the rest of the group and doubled one of our orders by mistake. This worked out for the guest that could not order food. However, the eggs and cheese were runny and had an off taste, and the focaccia bread was burned around the edges. Lastly, our waitress rarely checked on us and we were not able to express our concerns to the restaurant at the time. In addition, the 18% gratuity was automatically included on the bill which is not as high as I would have normally tipped. Overall, I would not recommend this place for lunch.

An authentic Italian restaurant with art-deco themed interior. Cosy interiors and great ambiance. We had the Brazziano ( fish was done perfect, the presentation and the sides could have been better). The gnocchi and ravioli were excellent. Service was efficient and professional without being overly noteworthy.

My friends and I came here for brunch and our waitress was so memorable! She gave some of the best service in town, especially considering we were a larger group than our reservation.I am not thrilled with brunch I had the sourdough lacked tanginess and the eggs were a bit more greasy than I anticipated. I do think the portions are fair.

Went to Oretta for our wedding dinner and had a great time. We were given a few different menus to choose from where we could pick the appetizers to share family style as well as selecting the beverage lists.Because we were a small party, we were in the main dining area downstairs which was a little noisy. Service was good; they were attentive at keeping glasses filled.When I used one of the washrooms upstairs, though, the brighter light went out, and I had just a dim light to see by. Another member of our party also went to use the washroom and said there was just a single very dim light. Highlights of the meal were definitely the artichoke hearts.All in all, we had an enjoyable time with good food. I would return to Oretta, though next time I would ask about the lighting in the bathroom.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available, though they're not the restaurant's focus/specialty.

Lovely atmosphere, however unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food, and when it did finally arrive, it was ice cold. There were problems with each order (cold, burnt) and they all came at separate times and had to be remade. Pastries were very delicious but the actual meals were a bit disappointing and lacked in flavour. After being there for almost two hours, the manager offered to comp half our meal for the trouble which we appreciated. Overall we had higher expectations and were left disappointed.

Was here for an event- ambience was great and space was very separate from the main dining area. Gave enough privacy. The set menu was pretty good. Main Beef striploin dish was slightly over done, but the polpette was so good! Salad was ok. The appetizers served throughout the night were quite good - chicken skewers were great, but avocado crisps were slightly difficult to eat given the hard shell

Actually could not have had a better brunch. The ambiance was wonderful, we sat in the back and the flowers were amazing. The food was incredible and the service was fantastic, the bottomless mimosas stayed filled and the meal came quickly. We had so much fun!

I came here to check out their happy hour menu. Unfortunately, the baked pasta was chilly in the center and lacked any real flavor. The fried carbonara seemed more like something you'd find at a fair than a quality dish. The pizza had a doughy texture, and the crust was too salty. The calamari wasn't crispy enough and was too soft for my liking. Overall, the meal felt like something straight out of a frozen dinner set. However, I have to give credit for their amazing atmosphere, and the service was good. It's just a shame that the food didn't live up to the rest of the experience. I might still return for the drinks and the vibe, though. Perhaps their main menu offers better options.
