I’ve been eating her for the last 15 year. Love the kalbi and seafood tofu stew. Food was top notch and skillfully consistent executed. Walked by the other day and noticed the sign has been taking down. Looks like the restaurant has changed hands.

Decent spot to try Korean food. I ordered my usual go to dish Gamja-tang (pork bone soup) and it was actually pretty good. Also had soju.. This is a cash only place so be mindful of that.Vegetarian options: Yes.

Lots of Korean restaurants along this section of Bloor but this one did not have a line. So glad we found it. We had a kimchi beef soup and a seafood tofu soup. Both were stuffed to the brim with goodness perfect for a winter night. They also came with two bowls of rice. The included side dishes were the best I've had at a Korean restaurant.Yes, it is cash only so come ready. We paid $37 including tax for the two soups, side dishes, and rice. A great deal and we can't wait to come back to try more.

one of my favourite Korean restaurants in Korea town. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the food is always fresh.

Was one of my fav Korean restaurants but it changed since my last visit this week. The service has dropped a lot. Although food was great, but my overall experience was spoiled by the cold staff. Not even a slight smile on face. Wouldn’t refill the side dishes, wouldn’t give the table we asked for even though restaurant was pretty much empty. I just don’t understand. He came to take our cutlery before we were done eating. The single staff ruined my fav Korean restaurant. Now I will have to look for a new one. ☹️I miss the handsome Korean guy and the pretty Korean girl you guys used to have.Side note: Pls make pork bbq available as single dish and not in combo only. Or let us choose the stew we want. Tofu stew is not that tasty. ??

Ordered the yookgaejang and the steamed beef dumplings. The flavour was basic and pretty average. The service was also mediocre and most times the waiters are off doing their own things and not really paying attention to you. You can definitely get better Korean food elsewhere. Also want to mention that I also saw a waitress drop a whole box of glass noodles onto the floor and proceed to pick it up and put it back into the box. Luckily another worker saw her do that and told her to throw it out...

I came in for a quick bite to eat on August 31. As soon as my food was served, I noticed a couple of patrons who were sitting a booth, creating commotion. The girl started spitting on the floor and throwing napkins around. The service personnel was just standing and watching. I approached one of the servers and told her that the girl was spitting on the floor. The server's response was: "oh, I know". I went back to my table and at the time the inappropriately behaved couple started leaving. The servers started cleaning their table and mopping the floor. Then they started serving food to other customers and never once had washed their hands. The entire restaurant is old, cluttered with boxes, there are open food containers with sanitary rags and sprays hanging over them. The servers were running around with mops and rags after cleaning and touching clean plates and serving without washing their hands. This place should be inspected and put under watch.

Discovered this place from Uber eats and was super impressed, so I decided to try it in person. Restaurant is small and seats are pretty closed off (huge booths). Great selection of Korean dishes and decent portions. Staff were friendly as well!

This is my go to Korean food in the city. I think they make really good bulgogi and kimchi jjigae. They also have really solid banchans too!

I tried the pork bone hot soup for the first time. They have amazing tender steam pork and the soup is good as well. 4 big pieces of pork are well deserve the price of 15$. Highly recommend this restaurant for a cold day. Pork Bone Soup

Arrived at 10pm and informed we just leave by 11 at close. Been here multiple times and it's a great place for homestyle Korean fare. Perhaps I visited too late but dishes did not taste as good as I remembered. They didn't refill the side dishes and advised kitchen was closed (10:30pm at that point). Service was not friendly. Will revisit with lower expectations.

I was introduced to this place by a family member; we both got the pork bone soup. Since my first time, I've ordered from Paldo Gangsan about 7 times; the food is super delicious!
