Decent coffee and croissant ?

I live near Palmer, and even though there are plenty of the usual coffee spots close by, Palmer is always my go to place. The coffee-and varieties of hot drinks-and snacks are wonderful, and the staff are the best. My only complaint is that there are very few indoor tables, and I've had to sit outdoors, even when it's very cold. Perhaps have a time limit on how long patrons can stay? Or some other solution?

Service was fast, and the atmosphere was very cute, but the coffee was just not my cup of coffee, haha. I drink mine black, and their coffee was very sweet/sour tasting. I prefer bitter coffee, I ground my own coffee at home, so I'm a bit of a snob. I'll give them another try when I want a fancy coffee.

Overall good coffee and a cosy atmosphere even if a little tight a squeeze. The service is always painfully slow though, with it seemingly taking three times the amount of time per order that any other cafe does. I’ve never waited less than 10 minutes with 1 or 2 orders in front

Great coffee. My fussy order was made perfectly! Delicious cookies (all baking is made in house). Friendly service. Charming patio. Best cafe in Bloor West by far!

Wonderful staff and owner! Great coffee. I particularly like the Cortado. Fresh baked goods made on the premises everyday. Lovely sense of community.

Got two brew coffees. The coffee wasn’t ready and had to wait. The problem was the coffee was so weak that there was no coffee flavour. It tasted like drinking lightly flavoured water. The coffee was also scalding hot, so when the lid popped off and the coffee spilled on me it hurt.

Cute spot by Runnymede station/high park. Indoor seating was quite limited - 3 tables that seat 2, and around 8 bar stool seats. We ordered hot cocoa with oat milk, which tasted great. The barista was super friendly!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free beverage options available

My coffee tastes INCREDIBLE. It does not compare to others in the area. Friendly barista. Nice ambiance. Well taken care of. Clean. Coffee smells good. Good community in the area and reasonable prices. Although if in a rush not ideal as it can get kind of packed out.

I encountered a very condescending woman working here last week. I had inquired what their tea bags were made from, as I try to minimize the known risk of microplastic, which is found in most commercial tea bags. I was told they are made from sugarcane, and when I questioned this after receiving the tea bag (as it looked like a plastic mesh) I was told I need to educate myself. I went to the Harney and Son's website to find out that sugarcane is a 40% component of their bags, the rest is nylon. Will not be returning.

Palmer is a charming neighborhood coffee shop with a cool design and a lovely patio. The atmosphere is inviting, and the cortado is really good. It's the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or work. Highly recommended!
