Only been here 2x. Can't say much about it. But looks like a fun place.. I've only had their popcorn which is free. But extremely salty where it burns the mouth..I would pay for popcorn with little salt...

Great spot for a Friday evening..Cute concept of sliders of all varieties (catering to dietary needs as well). Love the vibe of the place - it was certainly busy that evening. We each did a combo which is three sliders and tater tots for just under $20. It doesn't sound like a lot of food but it ended up being perfect, if not a bit too much.Decent beer on tap at decent prices. Oh and free popcorn.Worth checking out!

Overall a cool place close to my home but I would just like a few clarifications - - Iam curious why does the tip % start at 22% of the gross total - not net total. Isn’t the standard tipping norm 15% of net total before taxes ?22% of gross total equals about 38% of net total so does that mean you expect patrons to pay your waitresses and staff over a third of their expense ?3 of us dined today 2/25 and were shocked to see the tipping percent start at 22% even though it was just a regular service. We still tipped 20% to be nice but honestly service wasn’t worth 20% tips .

A penny for my thoughts about Pennies. This is a great neighbourhood bar just steps away from the Bellwoods park. It’s a bright yellow building , you cannot miss it.Have you heard of the saying don’t judge the book by its cover? Apply that analogy to this place, yes it’s not what you think. It’s actually a great place with friendly vibe, great staff some good food, and good drinks. Oh and if it’s a beautiful sunny day you will have the best of times on the patio, but you better have a lucky penny to find a spot.Personally I had a great experience and I am the one who is picky with OCD.I’ve had few meals here like Harlem chopped cheese, poutine tots, Korean fried chicken and I enjoyed them every time.Sure it may take long to get your food or drinks, but that’s every where and that’s the beauty of this industry.Pennies worth every penny to have a great experience among your friends, amigos, colleagues and maybe relatives.

I love the vibe at Pennies, it’s cheap and the food is delicious. They also always have the best daily promotions. Extra points for when the patio is open too! Such a fun spot.

What a gem! Great specials, excellent service, and many delish sliders to choose from. The cherry coke cocktail is the best! Can’t wait to be back, again and again.

For a $8 you could have yourself a burger the size of a toonie! This burgers dollar per weight ratio is equivalent to some precious metals! Pennies, more like Silvers. Do better.

What a great neighbourhood bar. Amazing selection of sliders, you can basically get anything you can think of and not go wrong, a wide variety of drinks, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic options, and all at a great price! One of my fave spots ?My go-to sliders are the Korean Fried Chicken and Southern Honey Fried Chicken. A classic Cheese Burger is great too. And Tots are A+!

No fuss bugers and beers. Gets busy in the summer

We arrived not long after midnight to grab a couple of drinks. A server refused to serve us, saying that last call was over. There were around a dozen people still seated there, including at the bar.

Terrific spot with fun movies (silently) on the TVs, free popcorn, cheap eats and fun drinks. Specials on off-days (Sunday-Wednesday) are particularly great!
