Ordered the platter that had ribs, brisket, carolina wings all in all very tasty...sides included mac & cheese=Fabs...Beans=..ok..Fries=nothing special and the cornbread was the downfall of the entire meal . It should elevated as a side and it was terrible ..dry and to dense..word to the mgt...if its old throw it out because it tasted like stale cornbread...so disappointed that i paid extra for it.

I stumbled upon this spot when visiting UofT on a cold January day. I got the pulled pork combo. Wow, just wow! Exceptional food and service. It hit the spot!

Great, friendly staff. We had the brisket sandwich- I think it usually comes with sauce on the side, we weren’t given any, but went back in to get some because the meat was pretty dry.No pork in the beans, some might enjoy the sweetness…Cornbread was a little dry…

Pulled pork and Mac and cheese and cheese brisket. Delivered by Uber Eats. Food was cold and mushy. Mac and cheese was very dry. Didn't eat it. Perhaps if you eat at restaurant food would be better hence the 1 star rating.

Do not miss out on this place!!! I ordered the brisket sandwich, sauce on the side. The brisket was perfectly smoked, super juicy. The rub on the crust of the meat was superb!! Although it didn’t really need any sauce since the meat is the shining part of the sandwich I did try the mix of sweet and spicy. The bbq sauce was served warm which was an unexpected surprise. Very nice touch, great flavor and plenty of spice to balance the sweet. The coleslaw was also divine, perfect balance of crunch, sweet, acid and fat. Will definitely be back for more when I visit Toronto again ?

My smoked chicken and corn bread is flying down the garbage chute of my condo into a bin where it belongs. I ordered through UberEats. The food was so dry it sponged the moisture from my mouth. I had to drink liquid with every bite to shimmy it down my throat. I gave up after 5 bites. How long does a chicken thigh or a batch of cornbread have to sit for it to get that dehydrated? I took pictures. No joke. They cooked that chicken into fibres. The corn bread reverted back to corn meal. The irony is that the French fries were soggy AF. But, the steam from the hot food can do that during delivery. Nevertheless, how can any self-respecting cook or owner put that food into a to-go container without caring? We all make mistakes. But sending them out to customer?. You can see that I don’t write many reviews. But these people care so little about what they send you via UberEats I believe you should be forewarned. What about all the other great reviews you might ask? Hmmm… they all seem to be from in the restaurant. I wonder what the patrons where given for their post. Good luck!Order Deets: $56.49 including a 15% tip for a half chicken, large cornbread, and Nestea.

Favourite BBQ restaurant in Toronto! If you're looking for fantastic, authentic BBQ, this is your place! From the outside, you wouldn't expect this place to churn out some of the best BBQ you'll ever eat - the restaurant is small and located in an older building in the university district.Leave your judgements at the door however, as the food served speaks for itself! Plus... the staff are super friendly, take pride in their roles, and are eager to offer advice and recommendations.100% recommend when in Toronto, and will be back again!

One of the best pulled pork I've ever eaten in Toronto. I appreciate the portions for how much I've spent and the dine-in service. Polite, respectful and they do tend to remember you when you come in often! 5/5! Will recommend!

Food was yummy and service was quick. We had the steak wrap special, the rib special and Sunday’s pulled pork sandwich special. All we’re very tasty. Make sure to have the home fries. Bonus - they serve cold beers too. We’ll be back.

Amazingly delicious and cheap like a normal burger. You can literally eat the beef brisket sandwich for the prices of a smaller burger in most other franchise restaurants, it’s around 12 CAD (tax inc.). The brisket is well prepared and with spicy bbq sauce, it evolves intı another level. But it’s really spicy so if you don’t like it too much, better to go with other options. And the large fries costs like 10 CAD, which is not that expensive because it keeps you full like if you had eaten 2 extra sandwiches; I regret not having the small size tbh.Definitely gonna visit here again soon.
