Good food, great atmosphere with a tropical feel. The background music is always great.

Dine-In Experience: I think Pinky's a really fun place to meet with friends and have a bunch of dishes. (I've been here a few times with a small group.) The fried rice and grill platters are easy to share and you get to taste a little bit of everything. Uber Eats Experience: Having the box at home, I found the grill platter's meat to be a little too sweet. (It also comes with a side of dipping sauce - which I think it's fish sauce based.) Not the same experience as dining in with friends!

Absolutely love the food! One if the most memorable places I've eaten downtown

Loved everything we ordered - So Fly! Rice, sticky wings and eggplant claypot. Can’t wait to try out more of the menu.

The flavours for both the wings and lemongrass pork box were delicious!! I think the experience was slightly affected due to delivery but nonetheless the food was delicious,l! The wings were crispy, sticky and spicy as promised and I really enjoyed the hot peppers / other toppings in the box for mor dimensions of flavour! I would encourage them to rethink about packaging, it's hard to reheat the food in the provided packages and being able to reheat would have made the experience that much more enjoyable!!

Ordered for delivery via UberEats. - Fried rice was delicious: comes in a cute little takeout container and is chock full of tobiko, shredded egg, soft shell crab, and the other toppings. It got a bit dense toward the bottom, but it was very very tasty. - Soft shell crab banh mi: would skip this for delivery; perhaps better if you're eating it immediately. It comes in a classic sandwich wrap, but the bun gets quite soggy with the sauce, and the crispy soft shell crab was not so crispy by the time we ate it. - Grill platter: a bit pricey for $35, but a good selection of their meats with a small side of papaya salad, mango salad, and rice with fried garlic bits. Rice was a bit dry/oily for my liking, I prefer the traditional vietnamese softer broken rice, but overall it was very tasty! Overall would order again to try their other menu items, and hoping to try the soft shell crab banh mi in person when restaurants open up :)

I will start off this review by saying that I do love this restaurant. Both times I have eaten at the actual restaurant the food and the ambience have been 5 star. Recently, however I ordered through Ubereats and I must admit I was a bit disappointed with the food (and not because the food did not deliver well). We ordered the So Fly Rice, Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi and the Sticky Wings. The Sticky Wings were the star of the show this time around, as they were still nice and crispy after being delivered and the sauce was light yet flavourful (last time we ate in the restaurant, I personally thought the wings were the least memorable item). The Banh Mi was okay but not as great as we thought it could have been - the pickled carrot and daikon were shredded too fine lacking texture and the chicken was overshadowed by the cheese. Additionally, we felt like the cucumber, pate and cilantro were MIA. The So Fly Rice was definitely the biggest disappointment unfortunately. Which is a shame since I remember that I was truly blown away by how great it was (flavours, textures etc) last time. This time however it fell completely flat, the flavours weren't as we had before and the other ingredients were MIA. The softshell crab in it was great though!. For nearly $20 CAD (Ubereats prices) the So Fly Rice should have been better we feel. As I mentioned earlier, this restaurant is a gem, and we will definitely be back again. We would also be okay ordering it off Ubereats again as I don't think the fact that the food was delivered was the issue. If ordering off Ubereats we would recommend not ordering at peak time on a Friday evening and we would also suggest avoiding the Bahn Mi as it was the one item that didn't deliver very well. Great restaurant but not the greatest (food) experience this time around.

For takeout, we got the So Fly! Rice, made with fried soft shell crab, ikura, tobiko, egg, broccoli stems, iceberg lettuce, pickled chilis, and scallions nuoc cham. It sounds like a lot of ingredients, but they go perfectly together, both in terms of flavour and texture. Don’t be deceived by the small takeout container, they pack a generous portion in there! And second, we got the Grill Platter, which came with lemongrass chicken, pork shoulder, luc lac beef short ribs, lettuce, pickled carrots and daikon, along with a sweet chilli sauce, and served atop broken white rice. It’s a bit pricey for the amount they give you, especially since they only give two pieces of lettuce for the wrap!, but still a great dish to order if you want a diversity in meats.Looking forward to trying the rest at the restaurant when indoor dining is open again!

Great food in a unique setting, felt like an American soldier in Vietnam being hosted by some kind family in their living room. The restaurant is quite cozy, interior is eclectic and service is very attentive. Bahn mi and cream curry were delicious, will be back to Pinky's if we are allowed to cross the border!

The crab banh Mi was delicious!! However, it’s pretty pricey. It’s a nice treat but I wouldn’t order it regularly because of the price.

Food here is delicious, we had the mango papaya salad with the grilled octopus and pho beef dip sandwich. The sandwich was smaller than what I expected but was delicious nonetheless!

Being Vietnamese, it was so amazing to experience traditional foods with a modern twist. The outside of the restaurant was interesting since it does look like a house and not a restaurant but the inside was super cute! Not vietnamese inspired decor but it had a nice ambiance and I enjoyed the old school R&B hip-hop they were playing. The menu is small, consisted of maybe 10 items total but everything we got was delicious! We started off with Tiger's Milk Ceviche served with taro chips. This was so good and can be shared up to 3 people as a small appetizer. Next, we got the Marrow Beef to my surprise, was very different but so good as well! Imagine a sushi roll but instead of rice, there was brisket wrapped around a bunch of chopped up greens with the bone marrow infused with pho broth as sauce. We also got the Lucky Strip which was a cut up striploin with pho butter on a sizzling plate and again, the flavours were so lovely, it tasted like an elevated steak dish with a Vietnamese influence. Lastly, we got the Pho Beef Dip which was essentially pho in sandwich form and pho broth to dip. The brisket was so tender, it literally melted in my mouth. Out of all these dishes, the Lucky Strip or Pho Beef Dip was my favourite. We also got drinks but to be honest, you need to sip on these fast since they put a lot of ice so the drink ends up being watery if you take your time with it. Not that I wanted my drink to be stronger however, I didn't taste much alcohol in my drinks, instead it tasted like watered down flavoured water. The Mango Popper to my surprise was very spicy, which I loved! But the alcohol content and ice concentration was disappointing.Other than that, I had a really good time eating here but would probably come back to try the other things I didn't get to try!

It was around this time last year I was in Vietnam eating bahn mi's on the daily and WOW...blown away by the lemongrass chicken bahn mi. It was incredibly flavourful and I will be thinking about this sandwich for days. Definitely coming back to try some other things on the menu. My friends and I also purchased the rice to share which was quite nice as well. Highly recommend!

the coconut milk ceviche and the loco foco is usually what i go for! everything else seems to be a bit salty from what my friends and i think. but the aesthetic is super cute inside. (chairs can definitely be more comfortable though.)

Came here with a small group and tried a few things. I liked the Mushroom Vermicelli the best! Tiger's Milk Ceviche was very mayo heavy, Chicken Leg Lettuce Wrap platter was basic, and the Soft Shell Crab Banh Mi was basic but yummy. Really neat kitchen area though where you can see the grilling and smoking of their ingredients !
