This is a nice place, I have been here like 3 or 4 years ago, the food still good, and waiters and waitresses are nice, octopus and calamari super tender, piri piri sauce is my favourite.

Can't go wrong with this deliciously tender and well-seasoned chicken. Quickly becoming my lunch staple. Friendly & attentive staff too.

Lamb chops were undercooked. Had to send them back. They came back perfect. Pork chop was a bit dry/overcooked. Steak was a bit tough and under done for medium rare. Rice was a bit bland. Chicken piri piri is hands down their best dish.

Family restaurant with traditional Portuguese food . They are very good with big groups , I already went 3 times with groups of 16 / 20 people and we were all well served . The owner is amazing super caring and kind .A little update: was there today with the family and once again everything was amazing. Since the renovation their Menu got a little smaller but everything is extraordinary. The servers were all super friendly .

I go to Toronto once a year for work and when my boss asks where I want to go to dinner I always want to come here. The owner is awesome and the food is spectacular. You have to get the sausage appetizer and a bottle of piri piri sauce.

Absolutely love comming here❤️ this is our family's favorite restaurant. Food is amazing, price is very reasonable, and my favorite part is the staff who are all so kind and patient. We had our kids baptism party here and was extremely pleased with the customer service from all staff but especially manager who made sure everything was perfect!

i actually couldn’t believe how mediocre the food was for price point. i eat out often in toronto and am definitely never going here again! i am not sure why so many people are giving high ratings. maybe they’re friends of the owners or don’t go out much? i also wish i had read through reviews before going because same thing happened to me as happened to other people who complained—i was brought open bottles of $8 mineral water without being asked if i wanted it. i only realized it was charged when i received my bill!

Our recent visit to Piri Piri Grill was marred by several disappointments, particularly in the handling of our large group celebration.Upon arrival, our table was pre-set with plates, cutlery and 5-6 uncapped 1L water bottles (assumed to be complimentary tap water). Throughout the evening, our server neglected to inform us that these pre-served bottles were, in fact, mineral water, each incurring a charge of $7.75. Despite periodic requests for more water, the server failed to clarify our water preference and consistently brought out opened mineral water bottles, giving the impression of tap water.Upon settling the bill, we were shocked to discover we were charged over $100 for the mineral water. Firstly of all, the fact that we were never asked once if we at all wanted mineral water to begin with speaks to their lack of professionalism. Secondly, the decision to open sealed beverage bottles out of sight raised more concerns for us. Opening bottles in front of patrons isn't merely a formality; it's a practice to ensure authenticity. Piri Piri Grill's departure from this standard industry practice brings into question the integrity of their service and leaves us questioning whether the charged water was indeed what it claimed to be. This lack of transparency is concerning, especially for a restaurant that markets itself as "casual upscale dining".Adding to the letdown was the mediocre quality of the food. The several plates of calamari we ordered all came out soft without any crunch, and the seafood linguine I had ordered lacked any distinct seafood flavor, resembling more of a tomato sauce than a finely prepared pasta dish. Consensus among our group was that the food did not live up to the expected standards, making the overall experience regrettable, especially given the price point.
