St. john’s tavern is my overall favorite bar/resturant, one of my favorite parts is the funny duo behind the bar Haley and Al, their honestly my entertainment every saturday night, their playful banter is everything, and are some of the funniest people i’ve ever met, they never cease to make me cackle while also encouraging me to try new drinks while also always topping me off. owe it to you guys LOL.

We found ourselves thirsty while traveling the City, and took shelter at this cozy pub. Ricky served us delicious, creamy, cold pints of Guinness and was very charming and friendly. Definitely recomend this place to others!

It's my go to place and specifically this server has really bad attitude like doing a favor by serving us and everyone else is great the bar tender, manager all are amazing. I understand when it gets busy but not everytime you give this bad attitude. Last night I had 3 shots in an hour and he stopped my drinks like I want you to space you out. There were othe customers super drunk and having fun. I don't understand what's the point of being regular and spending almost $200 on a table every week and getting this rude behavior from the server. Not asking for more at least basic service and pleasant service from that server. Owner & Manager look into this issue if you can. Thanks!

Great food and great beer selection. Mussels to start, then beef pie and mushroom toast for main. The sticky toffee pudding left something to be desired. Bartender was attentive and kind. Would go back again to check out the upstairs oyster House!
