The curry Tonkatsu udon was amazing

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after the rush lunch hours because we are in town for a concert and are very happy with our choice. We picked the wagyu beef udon and the curry katsu udon and both are super delicious. Both served hot, it is ideal for the chilly+rainy day we visited.Service is great and the deco made you feel like one just travelled to Japan for a short trip.If I must say something that the place can improve on, it would be the chairs they chose for the seaters along the wall. whole having an arm made it comfortable, it is not really meant for chubbier people like myself. When all three tables are occupied (which it were at the tike we visited), it is almost impossible to get out of the seat without bugging/touching the customer behind you. This will be on our can visit again list!

Their udon look okay but taste terrible. The broth was way too salty, and their udon was completely soft and soggy, not chewy at all. Even their onsen egg was solid, completely cooked through……. Their service was also sub par, the main waitress was peeling eggs while serving. She spilled soup all over my tray when she served the food….. possibly the worst udon in the city

A pretty decent experience eating at this small japanese udon restaurant! I got the tonkatsu curry udon and my friend got the wagyu beef udon.Visually, the dishes looked so tasty and aesthetic! Taste-wise, I thought my tonkatsu curry udon was pretty good, but I think the chicken was lacking flavour. My friend enjoyed his wagyu beef a lot, but thought the soup broth was a bit oily. There was only one waitress working, so service was a bit slow — but the waitress was really nice! The interiors are also pretty and clean :)

Saw this place while we were walking by and it looked authentic and cute from the outside. Has been majorly reviewed by many people and the overall 4.7 star review is really what sold us on trying it. In my honest opinion I think it is worth 4.2 at best. The service is slow but the staff are friendly and pleasant. The menu is a bit of a mess and should probably be reprinted to better depict images and should be a bit more orderly. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive and could have been just slightly hotter. We ordered the beef udon and the curry katsu udon. Good flavours for sure but I would actually argue that the homemade udon is too thick in its cut and lacks a bit of chew. Feels a bit on the starchy end with a lot more flour and even had a bit of “al-dente” vibes. We also ordered the karaage which just came with a slice of lemon. Would have been paired nicely with a mayo dipping sauce in my opinion. I think worth trying once for its novelty but unsure if we will be back!

Food came out lukewarm with the service being terrible or just none existent. I can make better soup with grocery store premade soup base. Nothing feels seasoned. Nothing feels made to order everything feels frozen or premade a day before.

The soup is so greasy, it’s like drinking a bottle of oil. And I don’t think the udon is authentic enough, the texture is so weird.

The service is great, but the feed seems subpar and not extraordinary at all. I'm not sure what the hype is about

Umm someone in my group suggested this place while I preferred a real ramen ? restaurant. The Udon was quite chewy and undercooked. The broth luke warm. Everyone in my group of 6 was disappointed somewhat. When I want a soup or broth, I want it HOT ! not cold. A member of the group actually left because they had no vegetarian broth options - everything is made from an animal or fish stock so if your Vegan or a strict Vegetarian- look elsewhere lol. I’d never return here, Even if they gave me a free meal…. Meh Oh and that egg in my soup was brown. Brown. Yuck ?Dietary restrictions: This place has NO vegan or strict vegetarian options to substitute. A guy from my group left who’s a veggie. I was shocked cause he eats almost everything

The Chinese owner here has been unjustly dismissing many Japanese employees. Both myself and several friends have worked here, and it was truly terrible. Furthermore, the udon here is far from authentic and overpriced. I wouldn't want anyone to mistake this for genuine Japanese udon. The owner's name is Bruce, and his wife was nice, but he is just a wealthy Chinese person whose parents have money. I want more people to know this fact.

Social media and Google reviews brought me here after a call evening. The servers were extremely attentive and polite and the restaurant is clean. The food however, was a let down as the beef tasted as if they were frozen and the noodles lack of chewyness.Ps. If you leave a "review" you get a free drink.
