Food is spotty, sometimes good, other times so so. Prices have really climbed so the unstable quality makes you question whether to go back.

I was excited to try this place but was very disappointed in the food quality. The crispy beef and rice tasted like it was a day old. Not fresh at all and very tasteless. The hot and sour soup was also tasteless and not worth $10.00. Will not be ordering from here again. One of the worse Thai restaurants I have tried in the city.

Have been ordering from satay for decades. Amazing go-to for takeout. They just upped their game by switching from black to white plastic containers. Yes, they can now be recycled in Toronto. Pay cash and save 10%

Sharing a bad Bayview restaurant takeout experience: we ordered on their website and another family member picked up the food. Both of us ending up paying not realizing until a couple days later. The manager would not refund the tip portion of the duplicate charge (which was over $20 on both) so the servers got a nice 40% tip for that day for questionable service. It certainly did not sound like it was the first time it has happened. Anyway, not the end of the world but sharing a local lesson learned and bad customer service experience (minimal apology at the very end of multiple phone calls, no offer of a credit or any other form of reimbursement). Needless to say we won’t be going back there again any time soon

Last night I had the pleasure of eating at Satay on the Road, on Bayview Avenue. I went with two of my friends who treated me to a wonderful birthday dinner. The food was excellent, but for me, the best part of the evening was the fantastic service that we received from our waitresses. They were such a pleasure to deal with, and they made an already fantastic evening, that much better. This restaurant is absolutely awesome. Thanks for a great evening!

Price is great and the oodles of noodles was delicious… I could not get enough of the flavour. The portions are very generous! Highly recommend.

Food was mediocre I ordered the satay dinner (beef and chicken), which had no flavour nor anyhint of taste, the side of stir-fried veggies was the best thing about this dish, rice was sad too. 2nd dish was malay chicken, which seemed like bolied chicken with sauce, no taste the side of the bread/roti which came along was tasty. The curry was hardly touched, when the server asked how the food we told her and she smiled politely. Service was the only thing good. Alwayswonded how the place was when we went to McSorley’s for wmgs, now i know, would not recommmed or go back.walked pass the place in the past should have doneit again today.

Was craving Thai and hadn't gone there in a while. Difficult to locate bc of the structure outside blocking the signage. Once I correctly located the entrance, had to wait to be acknowledged even though there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. While deciding on what to other another couple was seated beside us. Imagine our surprise when the waiter took their order first and told us to wait ?...not a good start. The spring rolls arrived, but calling it a spring roll is a misnomer. It was filled entirely of carrots, no noodles, no other veggies. The pad thai used to be good. I asked for medium spice. Unfortunately it lacked any spice or flavoring except for watered down ketchup. There was a paucity of any chicken or shrimp. To make matter worse, as if it couldn't, the tofu pieces were rancid. We lefted and asked for our bill.
