Husband and I tried Scotthill for the first time. I ordered the boneless chicken curry roti and my husband had the bbq chicken dinner. We also order a side of rice and peas with gravy. Everything was super delicious. Some of the best rice and peas w/ gravy I’ve had. Being that I’ve tried roti from many different places in the past, I’m going to guess the roti shells are not made fresh here, as the edges of the roti were hardened. Other than that, no complaints. Next time I’d like to try the oxtail.

I've been craving some good Caribbean food and am so happy I found this place! The dumplings are fluffy and tasty without being too greasy and they're big too. I was delighted to find that Scotthill has the option to have fries with jerk chicken, not just rice. The jerk chicken and fries with oxtail gravy is phenomenal. I never would have thought to combine those together but...YES! I'll be telling my family friends about this place, I love it.

I am real Jamaican, and let me tell u it’s hard to find good “authentic” Jamaican tasting food that’s not soo salty or oily and not mass produced and tasting nasty! This place food takes like 30 mins for u to be served but the food is fresh and delicious! U even get a complimentary soup while u wait and soup is top tier comparable to Bulbie soup in jamaica the owner serves u his self with a pleasant smile…. The music is relaxing and the place is immaculately clean like Jesus police record! They even have authentic Jamaican drinks like Redstripe beer and ting and ginger beer…. After the food was done me and my wife shared a piece of potato pudding and it taste better than the pudding man pudding that sells out by st.Ann near island dairy… this man’s restaurant is a Gem and a national treasure I had to leave a big tip! And I will be back several times…. The man even have homemade sorrel taste just like how mi granny use to make it! Wah me Seh “ The Best Jamaican food in Toronto” and I have been around to the so call niceies and Stacey’s and all of them garbage compared to this man’s food!

Had a wonderful experience with my husband today. Was our first time at this establishment and we weren’t disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and a friendly hello. The food was so fresh and the portions were just perfect. The food was excellent and the dishes were good portions, we had oxtail and curry goat and the must-have jerk chicken. Our corporate office worked closely with Keith from Scotthill Cuisine and I can't begin to express how great of an experience it was!Our order was quite some effort - enough catering to feed 100+ guests. This is a great spot if you want some good carribean cooking. I was there for my brother-in-laws birthday celebration and the food was amazing! the jerk chicken with fries with oxtail gravy appetizer and the flitters was oh sooooo good. To drink they have an amazing variety of drinks. I had The Scotthill won't tell you what's in it 'cause you have to go and find out for yourself lol!Now, when you order your dinner you get vegetable soup with your order so drink some and save some room for dinner.Everything was delicious I got the oxtail, curry goat. When I tell you it was delicious yummmmyyy! My sister and brother-in-law had the escovich fish, my niece had the boneless chicken, my husband had The Scotthill Special which includes 2 meats!!! And everything includes rice and peas, coleslaw and plaintain.The service was phenomenal as the owner of the place was active in everything from taking orders to serving. We had a great time enjoying each others company and also the atmosphere was amazing. I recommend you go and get you eat on at Scotthill caribbean cuisine!

The oxtail was full of just gravy and no meat absolutely the worst felt like I was eating dog food 27 dollars for that is unacceptable.
