Came here for lunch. Food was delicious and fairly priced for its portion. Food was served decently quickly. I recommend the pork jowl salad and glass noodles out of everything we tried.Service was okay. Water refills were slow (we had to flag someone down to get it filled). We also had a confusing moment - we ordered the Thai iced tea ($6.95) but instead was served the Thai slushy ($7.95). Upon realizing we have the wrong drink, we asked why we got the slushy instead, and only upon asking it was then clarified that it was an additional “bonus” to promote the slushy, and we would be charged $6.95. Nice touch of the restaurant but strange on why it wasn’t announced / clarified upfront when the drink was given.

Food was absolutely delicious. We got the Panang curry, garlic chicken, chicken wings, glass noodle with egg and thai iced tea. Our absolute favourite was the panang curry! So flavourful, a little bit sweet but not too sweet. The thai iced tea was really good as well! It's also on the sweeter side but I personally thought it was delicious. It was really packed when we went on a Tuesday night but the wait wasn't too bad, we waited about 14-20 mins for a table. The atmosphere is very loud, kind of like a bodega kind of vibe but overall it fit the aesthetic of the place.Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible at all.

We were lucky we got sat before a line up started to form for lunch. Every dish was cooked to perfection and mouth watering! The crowd fav were the fried papaya salad and pad see ew. My personal fav was the grilled pork neck. Great place to come with friends and share different dishes.

Great food but one of the staff was very rude to me (condescending, dismissive, insensitive and patronizing). I’m a frequent customer and I think she thought I was a food delivery driver and treated me with undeserving superiority. Doesn’t strike a warm tone about how food delivery drivers might be treated there!

The interior is very pretty, perfect spot to catch up with friends. The food and delicious and isn't bad for a downtown Toronto restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation on the weekend!

Strong contender for best Thai in the city. Great service, music was a mix of Thai pop music and 90s/00s hip hop.We ordered pork larb, Pad Woonsen, lemongrass pork soup and sticky rice, all of which were amazing. Food came out quickly and servers were attentive. We’ll be back!

It's definitely one of my new favourites for Thai food in Toronto. I really like the unique menu they have that makes them stand out from the rest of the others. Great Northeastern Thai food was very reminsce during my visit. Highly recommend the papaya salad & pork jowl. Warning their spice level is pretty high so I recommend lowering your usual level. I would totally come back again!

If there's a more special Thai restaurant in Toronto, I don't know it, this place is delicious.

Som Tum Jinda lives up to its Michellin star. The food was amazing. The Som Tum was so very fresh smelling, tasted as good too. The pad woo sen so tasty. Thd garlic pork was real good.Service there was hospitable. The restaurant is very small, very cozy.Reservations required to avoid disappointment.

I had really high hopes because of all the fantastic reviews and Michelin recommendation, but was not a fan of what we got and potentially there were better things, but I was not impressed. Also, there is no liquor license here yet.

Great northeastern Thai food at reasonable prices for Toronto. They deserve their Michelin Bib Gourmand listing. Friendly staff, authentic tastes, variety of dishes you don't normally find at Thai restaurants in Canada. Not afraid to offer food like naem and seasonings like pla ra. And NOT TOO SWEET. I can't stress how much it annoys me that too many Thai restaurants make their food too sweet, thinking that's what people here want. Well, we don't, at least many of us don't. Thanks Somtum Jinda for some excellent meals. I'll keep coming back.

Probably the most authentic spot in the city for Thai Isan food. They don’t hold back on spice as the cuisine is intended and the balance of flavour is spot on every time.Bring a friend or 3 with room in your stomach because you will not be able to stop eating once you’ve started.
