I ordered a cake from here for my boyfriend’s birthday. Although the cake was delivered promptly, the cake itself tasted bad. We followed the instructions and served it the day it was received. Also let it stay out in room temperature for 3 hours and it was still very dry and hard - both the cake and icing. Would not

Very VERY dry cake that crumbled entirely as soon as it came in contact with a knife. Consumed within 24hrs of delivery. Taste was good but not worth $100. Will shop elsewhere next time. Edit: we had it out for hours before cutting it was definitely at room temp.

I had spoken to the manager Anastasia prior and had ordered a box of their almond croissants and they were out of this world!! The croissants were so fabulously made and delicious and the almond filling is so amazing. Some of the best almond croissants I’ve ever had. They went so quickly. They have a really fabulous team and really do care about the quality of their products and customer satisfaction.We can’t wait to try the matcha ones next the almond ones were just to die for!

Unfortunately the cake we got was extremely dry and was not moist. It was crumbling when cutting. It was also cracked at the base. Giving 3 stars since it was beautiful just like the picture.

I ordered a classic chocolate cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s so delicious and the cake is super moist. We enjoy a lot!The cake is so beautiful and big. I think the smallest size can accommodate 8 ppl .Thank you for the beautiful cake:)

This is a quaint pastry bakery located on parliament.We got a mixed box of croissants. Plain croissant - these croissants are more on the crispy side but it's so good. Inside has lots of layers of soft buttery croissant dough - delicious.The chocolate croissant has a really nice rich chocolate drizzle on top and layer inside. It's sweet chocolate flavor but not overly and has that nice rich texture.Almond croissant has sliced almond and powdered sugar on top. There's an almond paste layer in the middle that has a great almond flavor and isn't too sweet.Price: Pretty consistent pricing with downtown pastries with great quality.

The mouth-watering pictures and descriptions on their website convinced me to just go for it. I was so happy with the results and more importantly, my guests raved about how delicious everything was. Very easy ordering online and arranging delivery to the party venue, which they did on time. Good communication throughout too - I had forgotten to give details on what to write on the cake and also needed to order an additional dozen cupcakes and these were very easy to arrange by email. Would definitely order from them again!

Very happy with the customer service at Staij and Co. I needed to make changes on two occasions and they accommodated so easily. I got the mini egg cake for my sons birthday. The cake arrived perfectly and was very good. I'm already looking forward to getting it next year for Easter!

Really really really didn't want to resort to writing a Google Review but these people gave me no choice as they haven't responded to my emails and calls for over a month now. I ordered a cake for my girlfriend's birthday. You'd think it'd be easy for a cake decorator to read the order note and put that on the cake. I did too! Nope - completely spelt the name wrong. After trying to DM them and call them the day before with no answer, they finally picked up the next day barely sounding apologetic saying there was nothing they could do but ask me on my girlfriend's birthday to bring the cake in so they can fix it. Most places would've for sure offered to bring another one instantly. When I told them that wouldn't work and that I'd like a refund instead they said that's probably not able to happen and when I told them how ridiculous that was, they said a manager would reach out to me but a full refund probably wouldn't happen because "the cake is still fine" even after telling them I need to know grab another cake because I'm not going to be the a-hole who gets someone a misspelled cake. Imagine ordering a custom t-shirt and the spelling is wrong, you're going to get a refund on that tee. Why would a cake be any different? After sending an email asking for photos of the cake which I happily sent a day later, there has been no response even after following up and calling. I'm still waiting for my refund so hopefully this gets your attention because you're clearly dodging my emails. Thanks!

Beautiful, elegant cakes!I bought the raspberry lemon cake for a birthday. The cake was honestly bigger than I expected it to be, as it was quite tall, so I definitely think it was worth the price. It was enough for 8 people. The taste was great as well. If you prefer your cakes less sweet, I think this one is a good choice. My family also prefers cakes with less sugar and this one matched our tastes quite well. In addition, online ordering and pick up were incredibly quick and easy as well.I hope to try another cake or maybe the cupcakes and other baked goods another time. The reviews for those look great!

Some had jam injected, all had really interesting flavours/frosting varieties.Our first order came a bit messy - they promptly (same day - within an hour) sent out another replacement box complimentary. Really top notch customer service.Worth the money
