Food is good, consistent throughout all my visits but the service is so bad, almost every time I have come in. Seth’s service was really disappointing and non-personal on my latest visit. We were out for a birthday dinner. He barely checked up on us or asked any questions throughout our dinner. Then proceeded to place a dessert menu in front of us without having asked us if we were interested or even checked up on how dinner was tasting. I keep saying I won’t go back because of the service but I give in because of the food and am left disappointed every time.

I went earlier this week as I always walked past it. I was pleasantly surprised by the deli counter and the cafe area. There is SO MUCH FOOD! I had the banoffee pie and it was delicious! Service was great too!

Finally found another restaurant in Toronto with authentic carbonara!Had a great time the other night. Our severs were fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful. I will be back forsure!

This place never disappoints, especially the scallop crudo.
Everything was good, and the food seemed consistent? except for service.Service varies by servers... when I asked for a less salt on fries, he was really offended and understood as 'no salt'..so I asked for no salt or less salt, whatever it works. Because I was fine either way, as I can always add salt if needed.The server came back and forth to tell me less salt would not be a good idea, showing a judgemental mind. Rude.In the end, I had to even tell him that this isnt my first time asking for less salt, and I liked that way, so just do it?I'll definitely ask to change the server or seat if I see this guy again to not ruining my experiences.

Been going there often. Love their menu, the quality of the menu and well thought options. Everything is authentic and well thought. The food, service, energy, lighting, vibe, that beautiful store on the main floor. The value you get per dollar spent is above pretty much all places in the GTA. 10/10
Very good food, carefully prepared. Very good service. Fun place to eat. Downsides - can be crowded and noisy. Tables are very close together. Difficult to have a serious discussion. Perfect place to enjoy your meal, drink wine and not have to participate in the conversation ☺️
Disappointed
It was extremely load. The tables were too close together. They would not substitute the bitter salad with a mixed salad. The waiter salad it really isn't too bitter. Well, it was so I did not eat it. The rosti was burnt. To their credit, they did comp my dessert. I would not go back!

Interesting clientele. I've been here a few times with various people. Lately after being seated, some neighbours have been increasing hostile to me and my guests. Whether it's an issue with my coat being to big or our table being to close someone always got something to say. This most recent time was very disheartening as I was meeting with a lovely woman from Lagos for the first time and we were met with a nasty look as soon as we sat down. Thankfully (somehow) our neighbor was also nasty to the server. Doesn't make me want to return.
