Just get dinner at Maido restaurant. The food was tasty in general, I get sushi set and when the waiters gave it to me I found there is a big hair and I called the waiters she apologized and she said we will cooked new one . After a few minutes I get the fresh one roll , I expected some discount for that issue but unfortunately the bill was regular one. The place wasn't bad and calm atmosphere but tge curious situation happened and not sure I'll go back there .

Nice little sushi spot on Bloor street. Went here for a dinner, and both the food and service were good. The dishes came out pretty quickly. Nothing to write home about, but they do the staples well, and make some nice udon. I would go back if I was in the area and hungry for sushi.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options, but I wouldn’t go here for a vegetarian only meal.Kid-friendliness: Kid and family friendly. Don’t think they have a kids menu though.

Maido is my top choice for sushi in the Annex, offering the best quality and service with a friendly, family-owned atmosphere. Not only do they cater to students with affordable options, but their menu also includes delicious vegetarian options and easy-to-eat dishes for individuals with disabilities + the chef always makes me smile! I hope this place is around for a long time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Vegetarian options: Avocado Cucumber Maki w/ Spicy Mayo

Everything is great. However, the default spring roll which is included in the lunch special is disgusting. There is some chemical taste to it. So gross. Yet a sideorder of spring rolls are tasty. The former are processed and frozen. The latter are fresh and made in house.

Tried this place on bloor, reviews seemed decent. Unfortunately the Sushi wasn’t that great. However the Service was good. Got the $20 chefs special lunch box.

Really solid sushi place! We got the lunch special and a maki set and for the price, the location, the service and quality of the food, this is a good and reliable place. I've been here many times, and although the prices have gone up (like everywhere else) it's still one of my go to places for sushi!
