I had the Penang curry and it was fantastic. Bright, flavourful dishes abound! I dined here with other members of the Tourist Guide Association of Toronto as part of our effort to get to know the hidden jewels in Toronto and try restaurants we’ve never been to before. We all enjoyed our meals and the general consensus was we’d happily recommend Thai on Yonge to our tour guests who are looking for some great Thai food at a reasonable price (which is rare downtown)!Vegetarian options: There are meatless options but I would check with the staff about each dish since Southeast Asian cuisine often uses fish sauce as a flavouring in curries and other dishes.Kid-friendliness: Noodles, rice, chicken - these kids generally like! I would happily bring my kids here to eat!Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is on the second floor at the top of a staircase. I don’t think it’s accessible to wheelchair users or others with severe mobility impairment.

On Google maps and on their site it showed they open at 12 pm on Sunday but when my wife and I showed up at 12:15 the door was locked and the lights were off. We specifically drove there to eat and as a result our time was wasted.

The entrance doesn't exactly invite you to linger. But the food is really great. Service is nice. Price performance is absolutely right!!!

From the outside, the restaurant isn't exactly inviting. But inside it looks different. The food is really good. Service can be more attentive.

I lived in Thailand, so I can confidently say this place was authentic! They have some menu items that are not typically found in Thai restaurants. All the food was very savory and served in a traditional way. Staff is Thai too.Vegetarian options: Soy optionsVegetable only options

Found this hair planted deeply in the food. Then I asked the waitress if I can get a new one. She said yes, but when the food came, it was not the same dish as before. The first one had cucumbers and fried eggs on top but not the second one. Maybe they thought the cucumber and fried egg was finished so there's no need to give serve me those again. The waitress was not the friendliest I've met, she dropped a sorry and left. I also ordered the Thai milk tea and let me tell you half of it was ice and I was told sweetness was fixed and it was way too sweet.
