Fantastic, went with my husband during winterlicious and we were pleasantly surprised by the taste, presentation and creativity. The drinks were lovely, service was friendly, attentive, you feel at ease and comfortable immediately. We went back a few times after, because we know it will not be disppointing and get to have quality food.
Food as so delicious. I loved the flavour and texture combinations. Mushroom appetizer was so tasty! All dishes were amazing. And I loved the size of the restaurant, not overly noisy, but the right level of ambiance.

Not only the best place to eat in the neighbourhood; one of the best in all of Toronto. Always imaginative additions to the menu. Great service.

went to BT tonight. I am a local beach resident and over the years have supported the Beech Tree. Went tonight and although the food was great the service was awful. we felt rushed to place our order and we all felt that the owner who took our order at 7:45pm or so wanted us out if there...,in a nutshell after our order was placed ,,,,,we close at 9 pm. At 8:45 they stated removing tables from the patio??? it was a Saturday night at 8:45 pm. Sitting there and all the tables were removed around us. we felt unwelcome unwanted and rushed and won't go back again. Too bad because we have been loyal customers for many many years. to the owner we ask you to step up your game. Seriously saddened by this experience

This is a lovely little restaurant on Kingston Road. I've been here three times. One time for dinner, one for brunch, and today for lunch. It's always been delicious and the staff are so friendly. The ladies working today were very busy because the place was full on a Wednesday for lunch but they were very pleasant and the service was excellent despite the fact that they were so busy. Check it out!

The food is some of the best of Toronto's East End. Service is excellent. Ambiance is homey, but refined.

Tonight my family + I went to The Beech Tree. Upon entering we noticed how much noise there was. It was sensory overload, people talking over one another so it was loud to say the least.Once seated the chatter amplified so it made it hard to converse with the person sitting in front of you. I ordered a lime mojito myself + wasn't very impressed. It was mediocre compared to a lot of other places I've dined at. It lacked sweetness. As for the meal I chose which was the seared scallops + crab dumplings I appreciated it however it had a lot of salt. Both my parents were extremely satisfied with their meals though so I don't want to take away from that. The servers were attentive + made sure we were taken care of so they got a generous tip.The music was great but you could barely hear it over how loud people were talking. The music was Bob Marley etc.Lastly the dessert, my family + I ordered both the desserts on the menu, the chocolate cake + something else I can't recall but they were both fantastic. And I also want to address the washrooms as they looked neglected. The mirror in the female washroom was slanted + dividing wall that separates the sink from toilet was shaky. I share this because even going to the washroom is part of the experience patrons have with this place.Would I go there again? Probably not. BUT I'm grateful for the new experience. Thank you ?
