We enjoyed a quiet dinner at TOCA before a concert at Roy Thompson Hall. Nice place with good decor and great service. But the fact that we were one of only 3 tables seated when we finished our meal at 7pm made it too quiet in the restaurant. And the meal, while it was good, wasn't anything special that isn't offered at many restaurants in the city. But, for the location it's the best restaurant in the area.

Super nice people. Waiters and hostess were welcoming. Food tasted amazing. Entrees took a little longer than expected. We had a show to go to after they were aware but I think they tried. Overall not going to hold it against them as we saw other receive their mains at roughly the same time.

We dined at Toca for my 18th birthday and it was such a lovely experience. As a lover of cheese, I tried the Truffle Pecorino from their selection of cave aged cheeses and it was delightful. For an entree I tried the Ravioli Capresi, and I would definitely recommend this. With my complimentary dessert and well wishes from the generous wait staff, the atmosphere and food was perfect for my birthday. Thank you Toca!

From guiding us through the array of menu options and navigating our table of allergies, to swiftly attending to our every whim, Grace elevated our meal to another level. Now, onto the food! We indulged with a full table, but a few dishes truly stole the show. The Burrata was a creamy delight, the Calamari had the perfect crunch, the Pork Neck was a 'melt in your mouth' flavor explosion, and don't even get me started on the Carbonara – it was perfection. Unfortunately, as time slipped away, we found ourselves reluctantly needing to leave without experiencing their dessert offerings. But worry not, for we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to give them a whirl on our next visit. TOCA has effortlessly claimed the title of my favorite spot in the neighbourhood. It's the ideal place to fuel up before heading across the park for a show! So, without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend TOCA – and if you're lucky enough to be hosted by Grace, consider yourself in for an extra special treat. And that Burrata? Treat yourself – you absolutely deserve it!

We had an amazing experience! Bernice was most accommodating in the booking process. We had a lovely, warm welcome from Milagros our host and Vincent. Milagros led us to our beautiful table. Grace our server took extra care of us and ensured my mother had a wonderful birthday celebration! Our food and wine were perfectly paired and served - we were delighted! My family was so impressed with the risotto scoglio and risotto fagiano - a must try! I can't thank Grace enough for her five star service and a special thank you to Ali as well for his assistance. We had dinner here with some friends to celebrate our first anniversary before going to see a broadway show, and the experience was incredible!Our server Grace was fantastic, the food was amazing, and my husband said his cocktail was one of the best he’s ever had. Big thank you to the bartender who even came over at the end of the night to introduce himself and bring us Limoncello.TOCA really went above and beyond to make the night special for us, and even brought us some complimentary treats at the end of our meal. We had a beautiful dinner at Toca. We ordered the burrata, lamb with risotto and rapini. All were prepared and cooked perfectly. The food and service was amazing. They have a great wine selection too!

Came here on the last day of Winterlicious and my partner and I had a wonderful experience! The food was very delicious and the staff were friendly as well. Prices outside of the Winterlicious menu are not too expensive, in my opinion. I would definitely come here again!

Went for a birthday dinner/book of Mormon musical night. I, ordered the 12 oz steak, and my better half, the carbonara. Amy our server was absolutely spot on, you get her tip her large, she deserves it. We received our meals, but I have to say there are some small issues we had with them. My steak was okay, lots and lots of fat, and tendon. Im surprised that it was a 70 dollar steak to be honest, ive had better 6 dollar pieces of meat. The carbonara, was amazing, however, the method they mix in the parmesan was cool to see, but too long. They need to try to halve the time it stays in the cheese wheel. She was left with an overpowering, macaroni and cheese which muted all of the other flavors out, which she eventually gave up on eating. Simple reduction of time in the cheese should remedy this. Overall, it was a great night, atmosphere was fantastic, servers were the defenition of perfection, however, the food needs to step up a notch.
