It’s hard to claim anything’s the best of anything, but after knowing of this place for many years and bringing many people to try the “Tokyo hot sandwich”, I can now say by almost popular opinion this has to be one of the best if not THE best chicken sandwich in the city, order the Japanese poutine, and a order of skewer’s for the full experience,, never gets old, original flavour, food proportions great, one of the best spots in the city, also owner very nice

Really enjoyed the karaage box. The chicken sandwiches are juicy, and all ingredients are fresh. Everything on their menu is reasonably priced. All halal!

First, the food was delicious. However, there were two small issues. Both of the chicken boxes we ordered were advertised as coming with purple rice, but came with white rice instead. And while the online photos show the sauces in small containers, both were pre-poured over the chicken. I'll be sure to ask for sauce on the side next time.As to the location, you'd be better off adding some light to the sign. That stretch of College Street is busy and it's easy to muss after dark. As well, the entrance door is opaque and not well marked - I thought at first it was to an upstairs apartment. Will order again: good prices, good sized portions, quick service, tasty food.

The Tokyo chicken sandwich was delicious. It had the most extreme level of crisp without all of the fryer grease. The flavour was out of this world and the portion size was generous, a good bang for your buck at $12.00. The staff was very courteous. Def will be coming back!

ordered on their website, food was being prepared when we arrivedthe vibe was cooland the fried chicken sandwiches were crunchy and delicious. even though we ordered spicy, they were more mild (tried the tokyo and Nashville, preferred the tokyo fried chicken)fries were good, and slice of cheesecake afterwards (free cuz we ordered on their website, +10% off)service was perfect too, chill dudeoverall, would visit again

Explored Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken, initially challenging to locate due to Google Maps confusion. The artsy and chill vibes welcomed us. Tried the Tokyo Hot Fried & Chicken Bites – the sweet bun, fresh chicken, and added cucumbers didn't save the oily, bland crust. Despite a variety of sauces, the experience fell short, with Popeyes seeming like a better option.

Sandwiches not as expected, bread was a bit too dry and it could use more sauce.

Came in for the all you can eat wings. The place seems to be more of a night club that is showing its age.The first round of wings were ok. But the wings were broken and honestly seemed cheap. But on we went. The wings from that point seemed to be precooked and heated again as they had uneven dark spots. Worse was the oil seemed very old and bits of old batter were on the wings leaving a very gritty feeling in your mouthThe server while nice seemed overwhelmed. One girl wanted a glass of wine and she couldn’t determine how old the wine was. She then measured it out in shot glasses. No beer on tap.Won’t be back

Had the Tokyo, Sauced fries and Nashville Ice. The Tokyo is probably my favorite chicken sandwich now! The heat comes through and has that memorable “Tokyo” flavor.Had to try the Nashville Ice which was ok…and messyAnd order the Sauced Fries!
