The absolute best pasteis de nata I’ve ever had outside of Lisbon. They are so good. We recently tried the turnovers as well and they were just as good. Amazing value and absolutely delicious pastries.

Bought 6 custard tarts.. two nutella which were great & the other coconut ones were absolutely terrible & stale. I had to throw them out. Very disappointing experience.

Love their Pastel de Nata! Always crispy base and custard is not overly sweet.

Lovely Portuguese family bakery. Great baked goods and friendly service. Seating is available inside, so you can have a coffee and something to eat.

The bread is really cheap and the biscuit is so simple but delicious.

The food and price was fine for me,just one things that i saw in front of me, the lady handling the cake and touching cash and machine too, i would recc using the tongs or gloves will be great.

Love this little place so much. Lovely customer service and the dessert and hot food are always yummy. Definitely get the natas! Only ones i tried in the city so far that are comparable to the ones I had in Portugal

The best Pasteis de Natas ever! I’ve tried so many in Toronto and these are absolutely the most authentic delicious ones you can find in the city and possibly anywhere else!

I had the egg tart and the Nutella tart and they were both really good!

The Pasteis De Nata are simply the best ... nice thick custard with a crunchy & flakey pastry shell. The home made Boston Cream donut was simply amazing, the custard with a slight sour texture ... you'll never buy one from Tim Horton's after tasting this donut. The apple strudel was simply amazing, you can see and taste the fresh apple slices. The lemon tarts and nutella tart was simply delicious ... a nice citrus base on top of custard. The Nutella tart was sweet on top of custard ... a sinful combo. The lady serving was very patience with all her customers. She even spent two minutes on the phone with me when I called beforehand to inquire about parking availability. Which leads to my only negative about this review ... the parking availability. If you're lucky to find a meter parking near the bakery; otherwise, we parked on Dovercourt ( one hour free ) and walked 10 minutes to Venezia Bakery.
Lots of choices of authentic Portuguese baked goods with a small eating area. They serve lunch items like pizzas and sandwiches. Really enjoyed the pasteis de nata and sonhos(donuts).

Went to this place this morning (Sep 15 2022), and the lady that was behind the counter was touching the bread and then customer money, without using gloves. This place sells tasty products, but I don't want bacteria and god-knows what other junk that's on money on my bread and then in my body - they could invest in some reusable gloves, or something, to make their operation more sanitary. I won't be shopping here any more. Yuck!

Walked into venezia randomly & was very surprised by this cute little charming spot. Tried the patties for because the guy in front me got a few. now i regularly get the shrimp patties. they are so delicious and i haven't tried anything like them anywhere else. The Coffees are good too and we also enjoy their egg tarts. It’s feels very authentic and like you’ve had a small taste of portugal!

Extremely expensive place and low quality products. The hype is because it’s on Ossington ave.I’ve always felt like they were charging me random prices for the stuff I’d buy, but this time it was extremely off the reasonable. I’ve ordered 200grams of sliced fiambre and 200grams of sliced cheese and I was charged 15 dollars for it.The baked goods are no good and still very pricy. There are much better Portuguese bakeries right on Dundas worth going for.

The egg custard tarts were good, but the orange, almond, and bean tarts were sodden and flavorless. I threw them out. The staff person was also rude, insisting that we pay in Canadian cash and use an ATM installed on the premises. Try Nova Era instead.
