Ordered beef and lamb shawarma but was given chicken instead. I forgot to check so my fault as well, but I do like the food a lot and only 50cent difference so that’s fine.

Ordered through Ritual to support the local business and pick up lunch before my appointment. Order was not ready at the pick up time, staffs attitude was dismissing and I was given plain rice, a piece of bread and small plate of eggplants although I ordered shawarma and noticed once I got back.I had to travel there several times, missed lunch bc of their mistake. Not only I got nasty looks from the staff when I was back, I was not compensated for my trouble. This is not the only time I had bad experience here, this is not how you run your business I’m sorry for you and any customers treated badly but this will be my last one surely.Edit* I was compensated with an apology and a plain rice, “another plate” that was already paid by me! ?

My rating: 8.0/10. One of the better shawarmas I’ve had in Toronto. They have a good selection of toppings, different size options, and a varied menu. When I received my shawarma it was in a take out container and sliced up into bite size pieces, which I didn’t mind, and was a welcome change in presentation from your usual paper wrapping. The staff are quite friendly, and the atmosphere is not bad. They have a 10% student discount, which is an added bonus. Overall, I enjoyed the food here, and would place the shawarma in my top 8 I’ve had in Toronto (for context, I eat a lot of shawarma). Will definitely be back, especially because it’s quick and convenient.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options, but it would t be my first choice of restaurant for a vegetarian meal.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Quite kid and family friendly, I don’t anticipate any issues.Wheelchair accessibility: Not super wheelchair accessible. There is a small glass door you have to turn and go through that doesn’t have an accessible button to open it. Once inside though it is quite wheelchair friendly.

Waited 15 minutes from ordering to getting served, and the hygiene was also poor, with the tables feeling dirty to touch. The beef was absolutely awful, tasting like chicken lymphoma. I went there because the sign of "support local businesses". But now I know, that's the last resort for a desperately disappointing place.
