Ordered a tray of lasagna for our son's engagement party. My wife called the Unionville location so we assumed that is where we were to pick it up. Went there on the date and time agreed upon and they told me I was to go to the Markham location for the pick up. As I pulled into the Markham location, my wife called to say they called her and the pick us is at the Scarborough location. Needless to say, much time and gas now involved. Arrived at the Scarborough location and asked why there was much confusion to be told by the Manager that she thought we were located in Toronto because when my wife originally called the Unionville location , a 416 number popped up on the screen. I expressed my frustration with the Manager so she said she would not charge me the tax ($15.60). I spent much more on gas never mind I was now over 70 minutes on the road. Very poor communication skills by them!!!

Calabria Unionville holds a special spot in my heart. The wait for its opening was absolutely worthwhile, and my clients are in love with the pastries. Yolanda and Sam create a welcoming atmosphere, and their Lasagna is undoubtedly my top choice. Even though I haven't visited Italy, the store's ambiance shows a deep connection to their origin. I HIGH RECOMMEND #Calabria

Service was good - but food was not. I got the wedding sandwich which was prosciutto in foccaccia. Bread was hard and stale, meat tasteless and arugula wilted. I had high hopes for this place but will not return.

What a gorgeous venue. Love their hot chocolate. I recommend you grab some treats and head to toogood pond for a walk or just enjoy the main street strip.

One of three outposts of a family owned Italian bakery business that's lasted more than three decades. This Unionville location of Calabria Bakery is a one-stop-shop for baked goods, groceries, deli or cafe items and a food counter. Here you'll find almost literally everything from takeout fare (Italian deli sandwiches, hot veal/chicken/meatball sandwiches, pizza, lasagna, arancini, and eggplant parmigiana) to loaves of bread, pastries, deli cheeses and meats. I stopped by for a frothy cappuccino made by a friendly barista. She used Italian imported Bristot Buongusto Medium Blend Coffee Beans to make the drink which had that very distinctive bittersweet taste typical of Italian style coffee. It rang in at about $6 and made for a decent coffee break. There are two other bakery locations run by the same family in Markham and Scarborough. All three locations are unique and worth a visit.

As soon as I heard there was another location opening, I couldn't wait to check it out! I have been to the Highway 7 location a few times, but this quaint store located on Main Street, Unionville, I just couldn't resist! As soon as you walk in, you are drawn to all the delciousness of the food and baked items. The store has a very warm, cozy and welcoming feel to it. We were greeted very warmly and felt very welcome. No hesitation asking if we needed any help or assistance with anything. To the left of the store when you enter, is the market where you will find curated items and ready to go prepared/frozen foods. They also offer some of the best pizza you will try, hot sandwiches, pasta etc. if you are looking to grab lunch or take-out for dinner, Everything is made fresh and with a lot of love and family pride. The bakery and pastry items are so fresh and delicious. My family frequently stops in for the donuts and baked goods. They also have cannoli's, croissants, chocolate croissants etc. so many to list! Top those off with an Espresso, Latte or Cappuccino! No seating inside, but in the Summer months they have a couple of tables set up out front. Def a must try if you are in the area! This is one of 3 Calabria Bakeries the family owns and operates. Buon appetito!

A nice little bakery along Main Street Unionville. We stopped by for a quick snack before lunch. They have quite a bit of selection: from drinks, sandwiches, to hot entrees, to pasteries and even a store section. There was only 1 person I saw working but she was quick and friendly so not much of a wait. I ordered 2 pasteries, the lobster tail and a cinnamon roll. The lobster tail pastery was good and very crispy on the outside. The cinnamon roll was decent but I wish the frosting was more soft. Prehaps would have been more enjoyable if it was hot. My friend ordered a lasanga slice as it just came out of the oven. I've heard good things about it, and is now on my to-try list for next time!

Lots of nice baked items. They have an espresso machine. However they don't do iced lattes. BUT, they do have the italian frosted coffee drink (caffe crema I think?); which is really good! ?. They also have a grocery store component of italian items. No indoor seating, but a small standing patio.
