The food is amazed, and the environment is also nice. The only part that Lower the rating is the waiting time. We booked at 5pm,the drinks come after 40 minutes of waiting, and appetizers came more than an hour, and it took us about 2 hours to finish our meal. I would say the taste of the meal definitely save the downside of the waiting time.

They were keep bringing wrong orders from different tables through the whole dining experience. Messed up our cocktail order. The arugula salad wasn't even fresh. Front desk needs training. Only our server and server assistant were pleasant from the whole staff.

The good was very good but the service was somewhat disappointing, possibly because it was Mother's Day. We had a set lunch menu. It was disappointing that coffee or tea was not included in the set menu.

Family dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. We were seated at the back where we discovered a dead zone. Our phones had little service. We also had to swat away fruit flies. Other than that, the server was very friendly even though it was a busy night. They consistently have great food. One of the few Italian places that still serve bread and olive oil. It made up for the small inconveniences.

I love this restaurant and always loved the food. There's a reason why I come back but this time that I went, the service was completely off. We were practically the first customers there and still a long wait for even just coffees and on top of that, the waiter didn't seem to know how to properly serve hot contents as he reached over the table to hand me a hot metal pot of hot water expecting that I can actually take it with my bare hands!!! Though he insisted I can, not coming around to place the pot on the table beside me and in reaching over the pot spilled all over my arm and I had to be driven to the hospital on an ambulance with 2nd degree burns!!! An unbelievable experience. I pay the price of my heavily burned arm.

The Brazion fish was awful Service was not on par we had to ask 3 x for the drink. Felt robot type the service was not like it use to be. Quick and out. They were removing our plates and food wasn't finished. Truly overpriced for the quality. Calamari was so small minimum pieces and so expensive. We won't be going back

We made a reservation, at the last minute, with no problem. We were led to an empty room upstairs, that did fill up fairly quickly. I would have prefered to be downstairs which has a much nicer ambience but having never been there before I didn't know to ask. The waiter was very nice and eager to please. My son had the calamari and quite enjoyed it. I had the Caesar salad. It was large, could have used more dressing but good anyway. My son had the Orecchiette with sausage and rapini. He said it was good but would have been better with less sausage and more rapini. I had the Tagliatelle with mushrooms. Pasta was perfectly cooked and I liked it though I did find the mushroom sauce a little heavy, almost like a thick beef gravy. We didn't have a lot of time so missed out on dessert. Maybe next time. We each had a glass of wine. I can't recall the total price but it was quite reasonable. We would return.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, we got the spicy rigatoni and it was very good, highly recommend. Price point fits the quality of food and portion size. Always a great time here!

We decided to come here for dinner because my other half & kids wanted Italian food. They do have a private parking lot in the back, which is great, and the service was alright. We ordered a kid's spaghetti with the meatball appetizer bc they didn't have that as an entree, rigatoni vodka, chicken parmigiana, and I wanted just spaghetti with garlic & oil but all I got was spaghetti drenched in oil with no garlic- it was disappointing. All the food tasted authentic, decent, and price was reasonable. However, since we're from New York, we have had better Italian food, so the rating reflected our expectations.

I had not been to il Postino since I moved away from Markham. Read the reviews and decided to go and try what everyone was raving about. We were not disappointed at all! The staff was courteous and friendly. The manager came by to introduce himself. We are making plans to return soon. Thank you so much! Grace

Great service and overall good value except for the $ 21.00 martini ( price not disclosed on the cocktail menu) which was not Grey Goose or Belvedere as well as considering that other cocktails were reasonably priced around the $ 16.00 mark .However, our waitress deleted the dessert cost which was very appreciative. Overall, we had a great experience and will go back . Except, I won't order the martini this time ?

Il Postino has always been amazing and the food is always phenomenal. Started off with the burrata and beef carpaccio as an appetizer and it did not let down. The pistachio sprinkled on top is a great thought to the dish. My go to pasta is the pappardelle funghi. If you love truffle and mushroom, this is the pasta you're looking for. Super rich and creamy and the portion is large. This pasta is hands down my top 3 dishes of all time. The place was super busy with a party upstairs, and our waitress was fantastic and up to speed.

Service was amazing, we didn't mention in the booking we were there for a birthday but once the server found out she surprised us with a birthday cheesecake piece, such a sweet server and great value for the food. Will be back again and again

Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. First time to this restaurant to have dinner with friends. Were not offered desert perhaps there is none on the menu. Instead we were told they had another reservation coming in 10 min when we were still drinking our wine and just finishing our meal. Felt rushed and pressured to leave. Won't be back unless we're looking for a quick bite.

ordered steak frites and caesar salad, for an upscale ristorante type establishment, the caesar was bagged lettuce with some bottled dressing the steak was tasty but the frites were frozen not fresh cut and should not be served in this type of establishment when offering steak frites on menu, and for a 54 $ steak service very good however recommend order the pizza pasta
