Delicious well crafted lattes, loose leaf teas and scrumptious breakfast / brunch. A must try.Parking: Parking can be a challenge if the other spots in the plaza are also busy.

Had mixed experience at first since we called in for a table of 4. They mentioned they couldn’t hold it since it’s first come, first serve. Got there in 8 mins since the call and the wait time was supposedly 25 mins.We ended up being seated after 10 mins and service during lunch was great. They were attentive and served food quickly.Food was tasty, my friend had their classic breakfast and it had a great portion. Torched salmon and creamy udon was also good. They were able to remove bacon off the creamy udon. They also have milk alternatives (soy, almond, oat and lactose free milk). The ube and rocher cold drinks were not the tastiest drinks we’ve tried, couldve had more flavour.Overall though, it was a good experience. Atmosphere is cozy and aesthetic. Limited seating.

Love this cozy little cafe. I like the privacy that each seat has, feel very comfortable dining in alone. Food is good, drinks are unique. Highly recommend their matcha series. Most of the drinks are customizable and they have the lactose free milk option. Staff are nice and friendly. Only wish there was maybe 1 more washroom and that the staff would come by your table a little more often, it's hard to get their attention with the current table layout. But I'll still keep coming back ? if you're in a rush however, I don't recommend dining in.

It was full and busy on a Fri morning. Waited for a few mins and turned out they forgot our glass of water. We can place our order after almost 20 mins. And they forgot to give us a spoon for the latte.Foods taste great. However, there are not a lot of choices. I like their torched salmon and avocado on toast. Will def go back again.

The food and service are exceptionally good. The wait time is a bit long since they have limited seatings but the wait was so worth it!

We love the food here. I ordered the torched Salmon for lunch takeout and it was amazing. This is something you order and might first feel like a piece of bread, with avocado, and smoked salmon is overpriced. Then you have a bite. And another bite. And another. And now you're thinking, "how did they make this so good??"

cute brunch place w lots of fun and innovative fusion items! the flat white (midnight express roast) had strong bitter notes, was v rich and served in a cute cup! ☕️highlight of the meal was definitely the torched salmon toast - it’s like aburi sushi but in brunch form!! ?? the wasabi mayo added an unexpected twist.I like how their dishes are served with a generous side salad!

This our 2nd visit at this place! It’s a brunch date with my hubs. Layout and Ambience is good! Service was really nice! They really welcome you and check if there’s anything else we need. It’s my 2nd time ordering the avocado toast with scrambled eggs but this time, I added torched smoked salmon. :) it’s really great! ?Hubs, order the Sunrise Waffle Club with spicy potato chips. I would say his order was huge! If you want something for sharing. This is it! ?We ordered drinks too! The Commuter Flat white & Matcha Samurai with oatmilk! YUM! I love how they make our drinks! It’s way better and tastes great when it’s handcrafted very well! Will comeback again to try different foods on the menu! ?

We came here on a Sunday past noon and it was packed! It was about 30 minute wait for a table, so we opted for takeaway. We noticed there were a couple tables which weren't cleaned up yet and only one staff making the drinks, so it seems this place was busy without enough staff. Anyway, we ordered the matcha love - this was a matcha latte with rose syrup and rose petals. It took awhile till our order was ready. Since there was no seating we enjoyed our drink in the car. I'm not sure what rose syrup is supposed to taste like but the latte wasn't too sweet which was perfect for our taste buds. The matcha also tasted fresh (not too bitter and not fishy at all). There was a good variety of coffee and other speciality drinks on the menu. Wouldn't mind coming back to try more at a less busier time so we can enjoy chilling in the cafe!

Very solid overall experience. Excellent service, good food, good quality, good flavour, good quantity. Call it fair value.

This is our go-to while in the area. Super friendly, engaging and caring. There's no other place we'd go for coffee, matcha, and oh dang that banana bread!

Vibes: 10/10 Service 8/10 Quality: 10/10 Food: 9/10 Honestly love this place. Their latte and drink menu is amazing. As a matcha enthusiast and lover, this place has really great matcha and they spice it up with their matcha variations too which I love I've recommended it to a handful of people and they all love this place and have gone back. Kyoto Lo You MUST try their French toast app, it's great for sharing. It's soft, warm, sweet and pillowy soft with a good putter crunch. Love it!!!

They get 2 1/2 ⭐️ I love their food, especially their udon noodles. Their staff is also friendly and kind, but they are so extremely slow.I went in, asked for a table and was told the wait was roughly 20-30 minutes. That would be totally fine in most circumstances where the restaurant is totally full. That wasn’t the case here however. We stood there for 45 minutes just watching 2 tables remain dirty. Had the staff taken 5 minutes to clean the tables off we and others would’ve been seated right away. Not great service and they clearly need to hire more people or learn to be efficient. Would recommend going on a weekday, not weekend.

Super cozy brunch place and I'm a sucker for a themed restaurant. Platform Espresso Bar really embraces its proximity to that little stretch of train track that cuts through Hwy7. Very cute train-themed setting and menu. Came here for brunch a couple of times. Their menu is not the largest, but has some nice brunch staples at a reasonable price ($10-$15) with a bit of an Asian fusion twist. The food is decent with good portions. I have had their torched salmon open-faced toast and smoked salmon bagel and both were pretty tasty. My favourite part is their drinks. I'm not a huge coffee connoisseur but I love a latte any time. I really love their Warmy Cozy Latte which is made with fresh ginger and brown sugar. Their Hojicha latte also had a strong roasted tea flavour and their Torched Ube was a comforting combination. I would definitely come back just to sit back, sip lattes, and relax.
