They only accept cash and act like they should. Even if they don’t take credit cards, they don’t even charge debit.

Waited 1.5 hours for my order, following up multiple times. Finally informed they ran out of the item. It's unacceptable not to notify me when I placed the order or during my follow-ups, and allowed me to wait 1.5hr regardless of how busy they are.

This is an old-style dessert shop, lacking the trendy decor and modern frozen treats popular among the younger crowd. However, I find their offerings to be consistently average. It provides convenience to the nearby residents, making it the best choice if you crave desserts in the evening.

The service attitude was extremely poor. Went in at 12:15 and it was fully occupied. I ordered my order immediately after I was seated, but the employee said, "Oh, I ordered so much at such a late hour." . What about a store that closes at 1 o'clock?

Service was great! Boss lady was super nice to my family and I and the dessert and snacks we ordered came out quickly.Quiet on a cold, Thursday night, there were two tables of family and it wasn’t too busy.I love this place because it reminds me of what I eat back home - Hong Kong! I recommend the HK desserts and street snacks here such as the curry fish ball and fried fish paste with pepper.

Still a solid traditional Chinese dessert spot. My favourites are the almond dessert soup, black sesame dessert soup, and the tong yuen. Last time I was here I only wished the soups were hotter.

Their desserts were amount average. It's used to be better years ago. This place was understaffed. Only one staff member was there on Friday evening, she was the only server and also cashier for the whole time being when we were there.

The staff at Sweet Culture is incredibly friendly, and the shop is always clean. When we experience symptoms of overheating, we find relief by drinking Chinese herbal tea, especially the "24 taste tea" . It's authentic and helps heal our bodies quickly. You should definitely give it a try if you're feeling overheated!

The dessert is actually fine. It’s the customer service that’s horrendous. The lady operating the cash register is rude and impatient. She got annoyed at my wife because she asked for a menu so we can decide our take out order on the side as to not block the front register. She accused me of making up my own dessert order by asking them to hold the red bean from my dessert. I would avoid this place. There are better options.

Store was busy at around 9 pm. Only one server who has to take care of cashier and serve all customers. She was still nice and friendly. Have to wait for seat and took a bit longer for food. Ordered herbal jelly, sweet candy mix & steam egg white with milk, taste are average, no surprise. Price is fair

Their herbal jelly are phenomenal. Servers are friendly and the sesame glutinous balls are delicious. I can't resist to come here again and again.

I was just here a few moments ago. A buddy and I wanted to go explore new dessert places in Markham as we were bored of the usual BBT spots.Came across Sweet Culture on google maps, so we decided to give it a try. First and foremost the staff are really friendly and welcoming, they were patient enough to answer a few questions for us.Being our first time here, it'll definitely not be our last. We finally found a new dessert spot to enjoy for a late night sweet tooth run!
