My experience here was pretty good. Tried their fried noodles with beef and it was perfect, not too oily or salty. Great price for the portion size. Tough to get a decent meal for $10 anywhere else.

Tang Dynasty is likely the least expensive Chinese food court vendor in Markham west of McCowan Road. When ordering dinner combo for 2 items and more, it costs $10 each, tax included, with a beverage or soup. No VIP card purchase needed. The entree portion isn't generous yet totally acceptable, if you estimate 1 entree per person. The rice box was packed, too. Food tastes average/okay just like any other Chinese food court vendor. Vegetables dishes are very fresh, which I contribute to the high turnover. In conclusion, Tang Dynasty is the food court vendor you come for the everyday affordable dinner takeout, and you want nothing surprisingly good or bad.The shortcoming of Tang Dynasty is the slow services, aka slow in taking order, slow in delivering food. We waited almost an hour for our dinner order. So call in your order early.

I had food from here a few months ago and it was average then. I had this food again recently and it was disgusting. It wasn’t just average or bland; it was yucky. I couldn’t finish the food because it tasted so bad. There was almost no meat and just a bunch of carbs. I never had food like this before. It’s as if they are trying their best to make it the worst they possible can. I could make yummier food at home and I barely know how to cook. It also took 30+ minutes to get my order and I had to remind them I need it. It’s such a busy restaurant so I thought it would be good. One of the worst food I ever had.

I have been getting take outs from this place for years and food always good as they made it clear no msg. Recently went twice and food quality went down and seeing new faces probably there had been a change of ownership. They messed up my orders twice I went plus it's oily and salty so taking over the business without changing the menu as well not removing the no msg statement ... unacceptable. Called them back telling them they gave me something I didn't order and the lady on the phone just plain dead air without acknowledging nor apologizing, not to mention I have repeated what the problem was 3 times and she still didn't seem to get it (what a waste of time). Even the drinks that come with the food was wrong as I said I want soya bean milk when asked and by the time I got home I see it's not soya bean milk. So why asked if you don't have soya bean milk and when I picked up the order they could have said something about the drink and not being so sneaky to give me something else. Not going back anymore since it's no longer the same.

we placed an order over the phone, the lady there responded and said it would ready within 60 minute...60 minute later, I arrived to try picking it up....there were at least 20 plus people standing there waiting to pick up their food at this specific storethe ladies in the front counter were very hostile, just told me to wait without even asking me what the order was15 minutes after standing there for the wait, I tried going in there again to ask the status...at about the same time, I saw 2 customers going there and said they waited 90 minutes and their food were not ready...but they continued the waitI gave up, left the plaza...not going to go again, I am just curious now though why people still line up there and buy food, aren't there other options nearby?
