Ordered a 40 piece sushi sashimi tray for 2 people. It has a pretty good portion. Even with my big appetite, we felt satiated after finishing the platter. The fish has a thick cut, the way I like it. Unlike other restaurants where the cuts are so thin that you can see light coming through the meat. It is a take out only establishment, so I didn't bother rating the atmosphere. I'll most likely come back again.

The party platters are on the pricer side but you get a variety of good quality sashimi like scallop, squid, sweet shrimp and prawn. I ordered the 100 piece sashimi-sushi-roll + 38 piece sashimi. Came to a total of ~$160 and unfortunately this was not enough food for 6 people.

Avocado in roll was brown and likely rotten which is unsettling

Not fresh, rice has no taste and it falls apart when picked up with chopsticks. Will not return.

During my recent visit to Tsukiji Toronto, I tried the Ikura Handroll priced at $5. Although there were options for pick-up through their online ordering system, the prices were slightly higher so I opted to order at the shop and pay in cash. The hand roll was presented as a small, plastic-wrapped cylinder sushi roll instead of the traditional cone style, similar to onigiri sold in convenience stores. I believe this was a cost-saving measure to keep the price of the ikura handroll affordable, although it wasn't the most convenient option. The hand roll was a decent snack and better than some of the other handroll choices also priced at $5. However, I wasn't particularly impressed and don't think I'll be returning to Tsukiji Toronto anytime soon as there are other places that offer higher quality options for just a dollar more.

their sashimi are really fresh and reasonably priced my sashimi go to place. Their maki might look pricier but their salmon / unagi are really huge pieces that justifies the pricebut make sure you call to order in advance as busy hours have a queue

Stumbled upon this place and ended up coming for takeout sashimi twice in one weekend. Prices are fair and fish is fresh (lots of options for sashimi by weight). Scallops were delicious! Appreciated the nice presentation. Unadon (roasted eel rice) was tasty.Manager/owner is friendly as well. Cash and debit only.

Be warned not to order online!! I made the mistake thinking ordering online would be the same as calling only to learn that you end up paying waaay more online. I ordeed the 60 piece platter A2 and paid $87 (just shy of $100 after tax). The menu shows $56 and confirmed by the restaurant that its cheaper to call as the web is via door dash (or another one of these food order/delivery companies) so that extra $30 essentially goes to them not the restaurant...what a scam!! I don't blame the restaurant entirely but the web ordering aspect via Google should be transparent. I would have called my order in otherwise. The food quality itself is on par with many of the other local Markham establishments selling similar fare...nothing out of the ordinary.

Been eating here for 2 years....Just ordered today and in the sushi sashimi tray there were rolls with canned tuna fish ...so disappointing...they may have changed ownership cause in 20 years in Canada have never been served Canned Tuna Fish rolls...They are Dead to Me !!!
